A wellbore surveillance system obtains fluid reservoir information data, such as the position and amount of gas, oil and/or water, while draining hydrocarbons from an oil or gas field via a casing in a wellbore in a formation. The casing has a vertical part near a top of the casing and an inner face, the system comprising a first sensor for measuring a content of gas, oil and/or water in the formation, and a second sensor for measuring a content of gas, oil and/or water in the formation.

Wellbore surveillance system

The present invention relates to a downhole system () comprising a casing () having an inner wall. Furthermore, the downhole system comprises a wireless unit () which is movable within the casing, comprising driving means () in the form of wheels and at least one battery pack () comprising at least one battery for powering an electrical motor () driving a pump () driving the wheels to rotate along the inner wall of the casing, wherein the downhole system further comprises a well head () having a sound detection device () for detecting vibrations in the casing, e.g. caused by the driving means or an operation performed by the wireless unit.

Downhole system having a wireless unit

The present invention relates to sealing method for sealing a zone of a casing in a well, the zone comprising several leaks, perforations and/or weakened casing parts, or other irregularities having a casing characteristic which, when measured, is found to be outside a predetermined interval. The sealing method comprises the steps of measuring the characteristics of the casing, determining a position of the zone, determining an extent of the zone in a longitudinal direction of the casing, determining a part of the zone and an extent of the part whose casing characteristic when measured is within the predetermined interval, the part extending in the longitudinal direction of the casing, positioning a first liner overlapping the first area of the part of the casing, positioning a second liner overlapping the second area of the part of the casing, expanding the first liner, and expanding the second liner.

Sealing system

The present invention relates to an annular barrier for being expanded in an annulus between a well tubular structure and an inside wall of a borehole downhole. The annular barrier comprises a tubular part for mounting as part of the well tubular structure; an expandable sleeve made of a first metal, surrounding the tubular part and defining a space being in fluid communication with an inside of the tubular part, the expandable sleeve having a longitudinal extension, an inner face facing the tubular part and two ends; a connection part made of a second metal, connecting the expandable sleeve with the tubular part; an opening for letting fluid into the space to expand the sleeve, and a transition area comprising a connection of the sleeve with the connection part.

Annular barrier

The present invention relates to a wireless downhole unit () adapted to be lowered into a well () in a casing () having an inner wall () and an inner diameter (Dc). The wireless downhole unit comprises an electrical motor (), a pump (), and driving means () for allowing movement of the wireless downhole unit within the casing, and at least one battery pack (). The present invention further relates to a downhole system.

Wireless downhole unit

The present invention relates to a completion assembly for running into a borehole in a formation through a well head or blowout preventer, comprising a casing string having a first end and a second end, and a drill pipe having a first end and a second end and extending through the well head or the blowout preventer and being releasably connected at the first end with the casing string. Furthermore, the invention relates to a completion method for completing a casing string. Moreover, the invention relates to a completion kit for making a completion assembly according to the present invention.

Well completion

The invention relates to a sequence valve for use in a hydraulic plant, which sequence valve has a pressure-controlled slide valve () with a spring return and in a starting position defines a first cavity (), which cavity is connected with a tank and the hydraulic plant, and in a second, pressurized position closes off the connection with the tank. The cavity is connected to a second cavity () via a channel () in the slide valve, and the second cavity is adapted to be connected with a pump via a throttle () and is positioned on the same side of the slide valve as the spring (). The sequence valve has a third cavity (), which is adapted to be connected with the pump and is positioned on the opposite side of the slide valve from the spring, and the second and the third cavity are connected with each other via a fixed throttle with a short flow channel. The invention also relates to downhole tractor with the sequence valve.
