A system, method, and computer program product are presented for ranking content items. The system receives from a telecommunications network information indicating that a first subscriber has consumed a first content item through the telecommunications network, and adds an indication of the content consumption to a database. The system further receives information indicating that a second subscriber has consumed a second content item through the network, and adds an indication of the content consumption to the database. The system obtains a search result identifying a set of content items. It determines a first total number of subscribers who consumed the content item and a second total number of subscribers who consumed the content item and are determined to be similar to the requesting subscriber based on network-collected information. The system calculates a rank value for the content item using the first total number and the second total number.

Method, content ranking system, and computer program product for ranking content based on subscriber information

Hence a method is provided for determining a quality value of a video stream, comprising the steps of: identifying lost data packets of the video stream; identifying at least two intra coded frames of the video stream; determining intra coded frames having a maintained image quality, based on estimating if a lost data packet is associated with an intra coded frame; estimating a distance between each one of the lost data packets and a next respective, subsequent intra coded frame having a maintained image quality; and generating the quality value, based on the distances. Method and system for determining a quality value of a video stream

A method of determining loss of IP packets that are transported over a network (), where each IP packet comprises a number of data packets. Determining loss of IP packets

A user equipment () for wireless communication with a mobile base station (). The user equipment is configured to: obtain a current location (P) of the user equipment; receive a set of quality measures indicative of wireless data transfer rates in an area (A) comprising the current location (P); present on a graphical interface () of the user equipment i) a new location (P) comprised in the area (A), or ii) a direction (D) to the new location (P) comprised in the area (A). Measures indicative of wireless data transfer rates for a user equipment

Identifying lost data packets and at least two intra coded frames of a video stream can be useful in determining the quality value of the video stream. The intra coded frames having maintained image quality can be determined based on estimating whether an intra coded frame is associated with a lost data packet. This allows a distance to be estimated between each one of the lost data packets and a next respective, subsequent intra coded frame having a maintained image quanta. Based on the distances, a quality value for the video stream can be generated.

The present invention relates to a method to identify one or more interference sources in a mobile radio system, preferably in a GSM radio network for mobile telephones. A received signal (r) consists of a wanted signal and a number of interference signals of which one is a dominating interference signal and where all signals includes a known training sequence (TK,TK, . . . ). The carrier is estimated and subtracted from the received signal (r) giving a remaining interference signal (s).This signal is correlated against known training sequences (TKj, j=0,1,2, . . . ,7) resulting in a training sequence associated with the interfering signal. According to the invention, the identification code (BCC) of a possible interference source (BS1) from said training sequence is determined. After that, a number of candidates (CA,CA, ), each corresponding with a certain cell from the identification code (BCC) are determined and also the frequency which is disturbed and the timing offset (t,t, . . .) for the frequencies used by said candidates. Finally it is investigated if one or more (fa,fb) of these have the same time offset as the interference signal (t) resulting in that at least one candidate (CA) with the best matching offsets on its frequencies is identified as the interference source.
