A dispensing lid assembly having a lid portion that seals off the opening of the container but for an aperture and a centrally disposed interface void. The lid portion provides an integrated, external measuring spout in communication with the aperture. A dial portion may be rotatably coupled to the lid portion so that they rotate independent of each other. The dial portion is operatively associated with a diaphragm disposed under the lid portion so that rotation of the dial portion selectively moves the diaphragm between an open configuration and a closed configuration closing off the aperture and fluidly disconnecting the compartment of the container from the external measuring spout.

Communication device with configurable antenna interface and method for configuring an antenna interface. One implementation of the communication device includes an RF transceiver, a threaded coaxial antenna connector, a first RF terminal, a second RF terminal, an RF signal conduit, and an interface circuit. The threaded coaxial antenna connector includes inner and outer terminals. The RF signal conduit includes a first structure that couples the first RF terminal to the inner terminal of the threaded coaxial antenna connector. The RF signal conduit further includes a second structure that couples the second RF terminal to the outer terminal of the threaded coaxial antenna connector. The interface circuit is configured to set an SMA antenna interface mode by coupling the RF transceiver to the first RF terminal. The interface circuit is also configured to set a ferrule antenna interface mode by coupling the RF transceiver to the second RF terminal.

A video recorder () is configured and assembled to provide improved ventilation for cooling and improved protection against liquid intrusion. The video recorder is formed of a main chassis housing, a top cover, and a bezel for coupling the top cover to the main chassis housing. Once assembled, channels are formed which provide paths for both liquid egress and airflow intake. The channels allow airflow into fan intake openings located within a top portion of the main chassis housing. The channels further provide for liquid to be diverted away from the fan intake openings.

An accessory connector () and connector system () are provided. The accessory connector () comprises and edge tongue portion at one end and a thumb screw recess at the opposite end with a floating header therebetween. The edge tongue portion enables pivotal engagement of the accessory connector to a device interface. The floating header () has a perimeter alignment wall () surrounding a plurality of pogo pins () recessed therein. The floating header is movable in planar directions within the accessory connector prior to attachment of the connector to the radio connector interface (). The x-y moveability allows for fine alignment of the pogo pins to corresponding contacts and loading of the pogo pins to the contacts in a z-direction.

Handheld communication device

A system for charging a device and a power cell for the device includes a support base and a holder for the cell. The support base is shaped to define an array of slots. Each slot has an internal profile to complement an external profile of the device and an external profile of the holder. Each slot has charging contacts positioned to connect to contacts of the device and to contacts of the holder. The support base has electrical conductors that connect the charging contacts with a power source to provide power to the device or holder situated in the slot. The holder has a charging circuit to control charging of the cell held by the holder.

A portable communication device () provides a remote speaker microphone (RSM) () that is adaptable to a plurality of interchangeable bridge interface modules. A portable electronic device may include a housing including a processor coupled to a memory and a motion tracking device. The external accessory knob may be mounted to the housing and may comprise a position holding mechanism. The motion tracking device may be operable to detect perturbation in at least one feedback parameter perturbed by movement of the external accessory knob. The movement may overcome opposition by the position holding mechanism. The processor may receive and compare the perturbed feedback parameter to a motion profile defined by data stored in the memory to identify a characteristic of the movement of the external accessory knob by matching the perturbed feedback parameter with at least one portion of the stored data defining the motion profile associated with known perturbations.

A perimeter seal () is mounted between the lens () and the internal frame (). Mechanical switches () are disposed between a back surface of the display and the base () of the internal frame (). The display sub-assembly () and lens () is moveable relative to the internal frame () resulting in actuation of a single mechanical switch in response to the display being pressed. Sealing of the lens () to the internal frame () being maintained during switch actuation.

A camera mounting mechanism for a portable communication device provides a unitary cylindrical camera housing having an opening for receiving a hemispherical camera lens of an optical sub-assembly. A heat sink wall is fitted into a base opening of the housing. Another heat sink dissipates heat from a microprocessor. A replaceable lens cap assembles to the exterior surface of the unitary cylindrical camera housing to retain and seal the camera module. The mounting of the threaded lens cap to the outside of the camera housing negates leak paths.
