An electrical device includes a power connector coupleable to a cable. The power connector defines an interior space and a cable opening, the power connector arranged to receive the cable into the interior space through the cable opening. The electrical device further includes a barrier arranged to at least partially cover the cable opening, said barrier comprising an inner collar and an outer collar, each of said inner collar and said outer collar arranged to receive at least a portion of the cable therethrough, wherein said outer collar circumscribes said inner collar.

Electrical distribution apparatus including barrier and methods of assembling same

An electrical distribution apparatus includes a power connector for coupling to a cable. The power connector includes a first end and a second end each defining an opening arranged to receive the cable. A barrier is removably coupled to a portion of the electrical distribution apparatus and selectively adjustable between a first position and a second position, the barrier arranged to prevent insertion of the cable into the first end opening and to permit insertion of the cable into the second end opening when the barrier is in the first position, the barrier arranged to prevent insertion of the cable into the second end opening and to permit insertion of the cable into the first end opening when the barrier is in the second position.

An electrical device includes a power connector coupleable to a cable. The power connector includes a body defining a first opening and an interior space. The power connector is arranged to receive the cable into the interior space through the first opening. The electrical device also includes a barrier coupled to the power connector to at least partially cover the first opening. The barrier includes a wall defining a second opening. The wall contacts the body. The second opening is arranged to receive the cable therein when the cable is coupled to the power connector.

An electrical device includes a case defining an interior space. The case includes a sidewall and a cover. The sidewall defines an opening therethrough to provide access to the interior space. The electrical device also includes a power connector coupled to the case and disposed at least partially within the interior space. The power connector is coupleable to a cable extending through the opening into the interior space of the case. The electrical device further includes a shield removably coupleable to the case. The shield includes an engagement feature and a wall. The engagement feature is arranged to engage the case. The wall is arranged to at least partially cover the opening when the shield is coupled to the case such that the wall and the cable are spaced apart a distance that is less than a width of the opening when the cable is coupled to the power connector.

A circuit breaker is disclosed. The circuit breaker has a single pole module housing having a 1 W width with a first conduction path and a second conduction path disposed within the single pole module housing. The first and second conduction paths are electrically isolated from each other via an interior wall of the single pole module housing. A first activation mechanism is in operable communication with the first conduction path and a second activation mechanism is in operable communication with the second conduction path. The first activation mechanism is in operable communication with the first conduction path independent of the second activation mechanism and the second conduction path. The second activation mechanism is in operable communication with the second conduction path independent of the first activation mechanism and the first conduction path.
