A wind park and operating method thereof. The wind park includes at least two wind energy systems each comprising a generator and converter for generating electrical energy and a control system, a park master designed for active and idle power control that transmits a control signal for idle power via a communications network to the wind energy systems, and a connection network feeding generated electrical energy into a grid. The wind energy system can include an idle power regulator and a supplementary regulator, the control signals of each of which are linked together. Thus, a combination of idle power and voltage regulation is achieved that combines the advantages of each. Accordingly, the wind park can have high dynamic and stability notwithstanding erratic changes in the grid.

A method for regulating a wind energy installation including a rotor-driven generator, a converter connected to the generator, and a controller that regulates power emitted into an energy transmission system to within a limit value involves determining a maximum current value in a connection path, determining a current reserve value for power emitted into an energy transmission system, and determining a correction value for following a limit value of the emitted power from the maximum current value and the current reserve value. The wind energy installation and the method for its regulation also includes the use of a limitation device configured to set a phase angle between an emitted current and voltage of an electrical system in response to a selection signal in such a way that primarily active power or primarily reactive power is fed into the energy transmission system when the maximum current value is reached.

Power control of a wind park

The invention relates to a wind-driven power-plant comprising a rotor () which is fitted with at least one rotor blade and which is connected directly or indirectly to a generator for power generation, further including an electrical assembly made up of different electrical sub-assemblies including electronic, electrical and/or electromechanical and/or sensor elements and/or electrotechnical safety elements, where, depending on their purposes, all elements/components of one or more electrical sub-assemblies or specific elements of the electrical sub-assembly are combined into one or more function modules that implement at least one function in relation to the generation of electric power, where a parallel module is associated with at least one function module, and the parallel module is able to implement the same or nearly the same function as the function module in normal operation.

A wind power plant including a rotor having at least one angle-adjustable rotor blade, a generator that, for generating electrical power, can be directly or indirectly coupled to the rotor and, for supplying the electrical power, can be directly or indirectly coupled to an electrical grid, at least one rotor blade adjusting device for setting an angle of the rotor blade including at least one blade adjusting drive having at least one direct-current motor that can be coupled to the electrical grid via a converter, a control device, coupled to the converter and via which the control and/or regulation of the blade adjusting drive ensues, and a direct current voltage source that ensures a power supply to the blade adjusting drive in the event of grid power failure, whereby the direct current voltage source can be directly coupled to the blade adjusting drive or indirectly to the blade adjusting drive.
