A scraper for a scraper chain conveyor, having a top web, on which a chain attachment region for connecting the scraper to a scraper chain is configured, and having scraper wings for guiding the scraper on side profiles and bottom of a scraper chain conveyor. In order to provide scrapers with which a higher conveying output or a reduction of the drive output to be installed can be achieved, and which also enable a worn or defective scraper to be changed below ground, it is provided according to the invention that the scraper wings consist of a holding portion anchored to the metallic top web and a plastics sliding insert which can be releasably fastened to the holding portion. For the sliding inserts and their retention, various embodiments are proposed.

Scraper for scraper chain conveyors

A conveyor pan for a mining conveyor having a substructure with two side elements and an intermediate floor as well as a changeable trough forming a top strand and being detachably and exchangeably fastenable to the substructure. The trough having side profiles, each with a top web, and the top strand fastening means including screw bolts being fixable in place on the substructure. In order to ease an exchange of the trough, at least the top web of one side profile is provided with a plurality of open-edged indentations, in which there are welded holding strips, which project laterally over the top web and are provided with a plurality of bolt holes for the passage of a plurality of screw bolts.

Conveyor pan with changeable trough, and a changeable trough

The present invention relates to a conveyor pan () for underground face or gate conveyors, with a pair of side parts () comprising cast parts which include cast vertical arms () extending over the height of the bottom run () and the top run (), a lower cast flange arm () extending outwards to the rear, a cast foot flange () extending inwards onto whose lower side a base plate () is welded which closes the bottom run to the bottom, as well as on the end faces cast accepting elements () for the means of joining conveyor pans, and with a conveyor pan base () preferably comprising a rolled sheet. This has tongue like segments () on both long sides, which engage in cut-out slots () in the vertical arms () of the side parts () and are welded to them on the outer of the side parts ().

Conveyor pan

The invention relates to a conveyor pan () for underground face and gate conveyors, with a bottom run () and a top run () for the guidance of a scraper of a scraper chain, with a frame work construction () which has side walls () comprising cast parts firmly joined to each other, with an intermediate flange () and an upper moulded flange lug () extending outwards from it and a lower moulded flange arm () as well as a moulded foot flange () extending inwards and bordering the bottom run partly to the side. In accordance with the present invention the cast part () has at least one step () on the inner wall () of the intermediate flange () for supporting and welding on a plate (B) forming an intermediate plate, below which the intermediate arm () and the flange lug () form a profile strengthening (), and above which the intermediate arm () borders to the side an accepting space for the acceptance of an exchangeable tray () having rolled side profiles () welded to a conveyor base ().

The conveyor pan according to the present invention has a framework construction () having the bottom run () and an interchangeably constructed exchangeable tray () forming the top run (), which can be lifted out, vertically supported on the framework (). The framework construction () of the conveyor pan () has two roiled U-profiles forming the side walls of the conveyor pan, each of which has a vertically extending intermediate arm (), an upper, outwards facing flange arm () and, lower outwards facing flange arm (). The identically constructed but mirror imaged iron U-profiles (), i.e. with the flange arms (), () arranged facing away from each other, are joined firmly to each other by means of welded on plate strips (A,B) at about half height on the inner wall () of the intermediate arm (), whereby the plate strips (A,B) leave an opening () inside the conveyor pan (), which, with the exchangeable tray () removed, can serve as an inspection opening for the scraper chain, not shown, circulating in the bottom run () and equipped with scrapers. In the free space between the flange arms () toggle pockets are welded in with a positive engagement, which additionally stiffen the iron U-profiles and the plate strips (A,B) are supported by means of bottom run rails () on a continuous base plate () welded on beneath the iron U-profile ().

The present invention relates to a conveyor pan () for underground face and gate conveyors, with a bottom pan () and a top pan () for the guidance of scrapers of a scrapper chain, the conveyor pan () having a welded frame construction () comprising side walls firmly fixed to one another with a conveyor base () and a means () of joining the conveyor pans. In accordance with the present invention the side walls comprise mirror image single part rolled profiles () with a constant profile form over the length of the conveyor pan (), whereby the rolled profile () includes a base arm () and a top arm () both angled outwards as well as an extended intermediate arm () joining these, which is provided with an offset (), onto which intermediate arm () on its inside at least one step () is formed for the support and welding on of at least one of the intermediate plates (A) stiffening the frame construction ().

A toggle retainer () for toggle connections of conveyor pans () for chain scraper conveyors, guide troughs of mining machines and similar, with a locking plate () engaging across the locking extension () on the toggle head () of a toggle () and securing the toggle () in the toggle accepting pocket () against falling out to the side, both ends () of which can be introduced into an insertion pocket () in the toggle acceptor () and which for retention in the locking cut-outs () of the toggle acceptor () have at least one aperture () into which the shaft () of a locking element () engaging in one of the locking cut-outs () can be inserted. The locking plate () is provided with transverse borings (), one of which opens into the aperture () and in which a securing clamp () engagement can be inserted or is inserted retaining the shaft () by positive.

In a toggle bar link () for conveyor pans of conveyors or guideway pans of extraction machine guideways, with toggle bar sockets () arranged at the sides of the pans in whose socket cut-outs () a toggle bar can be inserted and retained by securing elements (), both the toggle bar () and the securing elements () as well as the toggle bar sockets () are constructed intrinsically symmetrically and the toggle bar sockets () are arranged symmetrical to a plane of symmetry (S) running through the joint between the pans. Owing to the symmetrical construction of the individual parts they can not only be produced simply but also no orientation problems are posed in the assembly of the individual parts.

A toggle retainer for toggle connections of conveyor pans for chain scraper conveyers guide pans of mining machines conveyors etc with a securing plate ( ) which engages across one of the locking extensions ( ) of a toggle and secures it in the accepting pocket ( ), both ends ( ) of which can be inserted into an associated insertion pocket and retained therein by means of securing means ( ) engaging through a locking hole ( ) in the insertion pocket and an accepting hole ( ) in the securing plate ( ). The securing means ( ) comprise a sleeve-like deformable out outer part ( ) especially from plastics material, with a reinforcing core ( ) from harder material, especially a reinforcing core of metal.

In the drive system according to the invention for a cutting machine which can be moved along a chain conveyor and has a pin drive chain arranged in a chain receptacle of the chain conveyor, the pin drive chain is attached at each of its two ends to a hydraulic tensioning cylinder device, with the aid of which the chain slackness which forms in the pin drive chain can be compensated. At the same time, holding devices, such as end stops, are provided in the region of the tensioning cylinder devices, which holding devices support or fix the chain section of the pin drive chain which is respectively under tensile loading.
