An apparatus for forming packs from multiple packaging units includes three transporters, a deflector, and an exchange transporter having no more than one transport segment. A gap exists between the first transporter and the third transporter. Either the exchange transporter or the second transporter is in the gap. Movement of the deflector adjusts a lineal dimension of the gap so as to accommodate insertion of the exchange transporter.

Apparatus and method for forming packs

A method for container packaging includes producing a container package that has at least two rows of containers, each row having more than one container. The method forming sub-groups by dispersing a container flow, applying adhesive to the containers, and re-compacting the container flow to adhesively connect the containers together to make the sub-group. This is followed by joining two sub-groups together to make the container group. Within a treatment segment, the containers pass between belt arrangements that move at different speeds for dispersing and re-compacting container flows.

Method and device for producing packages

A method for producing multipacks of containers includes placing adhesive spots on surfaces of the containers. At least two kinds of adhesives are used, both of which plastic melt adhesives that melt as a result of exposure to heat and that develop cohesion after cooling. After placing the adhesive spots, the containers are connected to each other using the adhesive spots so as to form a multipack.

Method for producing multipacks of containers by adhesively bonding the containers to one another

An apparatus for treating containers includes an annularly closed guiding-and-carrying element, a chain of container carriers, and a central drive. Each container carrier receives a container and has a holding-and-centering unit, an individual drive, and guide unit. The drive is configured to turn the container about its axis. The guide unit circulates the container carriers on the guiding-and-carrying element. A vertical axis of the holding-and-centering unit and that of the drive are congruent with the container axis. The guiding-and-carrying element has straight sections and curved sections. Each holding-and-centering units is connected by connecting elements that are mounted or secured on it in a manner flush with its vertical axis or concentrically to the rotational axis of the holding-and-centering unit. As a result, all endlessly circulating axes of rotation of the holding-and-centering units and containers located therein move at a common speed in every section of the guiding-and-carrying element.
