The present invention relates to a method for producing polyurethane foams by reacting an isocyanate component with an isocyanate-reactive component comprising at least one polyethercarbonate polyol, the reaction taking place in the presence of a component K selected from one or more compounds from the group consisting of K1 esters of mono- or polybasic carboxylic acids whose (first) dissociation has a pKa of 0.5 to 4.0, K2 mono-, di- and polysulfonates of mono- and polyfunctional alcohols, and K3 one or more compounds from the group consisting of K 3.1 esters of phosphoric acid, phosphonic acid, phosphorous acid, phosphinic acid, phosphonous acid and phosphinous acid, these esters each containing no P&#x2014;OH group, K3.2 oligomeric alkyl phosphates of the general formula (II), where a is an integer from 1 to 10, b is an integer from 1 to 10, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are alkyl groups having at least one carbon, and R1, R2, R3 and R4 are alike or, independently of one another, different, and R5 is a linear alkylene group having at least two carbons or is a branched alkylene group having at least three carbons, and K3.3 comprises oligomeric alkyl phosphates of the general formula (III), where a is an integer from 1 to 10, b is an integer from 1 to 10, R1, R4 and R5 are linear alkylene groups having at least two carbons or are branched alkylene groups having at least three carbons, and R1, R4 and R5 are alike or, independently of one another, different, and R2 and R3 are alkyl groups having at least one carbon, and R2 and R3 are alike or, independently of one another, different. The invention also relates to polyurethane foams produced by the method of the invention and to the use thereof.

Polyurethane foams based on polyethercarbonate polyols

The invention relates to a method for producing polyether carbonate polyols, wherein (i) in a first step a polyether carbonate polyol is produced from one or more H-functional starter substances, one or more alkylene oxides, and carbon dioxide in the presence of at least one DMC catalyst, and (ii) in a second step the polyether carbonate polyol is chain-extended with a mixture of at least two different alkylene oxides in the presence of at least one DMC catalyst. The invention further relates to polyether carbonate polyols that contain a terminal mixed block of at least two alkylene oxides and to a method for producing soft polyurethane foams, wherein a polyol component containing a polyether carbonate polyol according to the invention is used.

Process for the preparation of polyether polyols

The invention relates to a method for producing polyether carbonate polyols by adding alkylene oxides and carbon dioxide to an H-functional starter substance in the presence of a double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst or in the presence of a metal complex catalyst based on the metals zinc and/or cobalt, wherein (&#x3b3;) alkylene oxide and carbon dioxide are added to an H-functional starter substance in a reactor with a total pressure (absolute) of 5 to 120 bar in the presence of a double metal cyanide catalyst or in the presence of a metal complex catalyst based on the metals zinc and/or cobalt, and a reaction mixture containing the polyether carbonate polyol is obtained, (&#x3b4;) the reaction mixture obtained in step (&#x3b3;) remains in the reactor or is optionally continuously transferred to a downstream reactor at a starting total pressure (absolute) of 5 to 120 bar, the content of free alkylene oxide in the reaction mixture being reduced in the course of a downstream reaction in each case, and the total pressure (absolute) can be reduced by up to 50% during the step (&#x3b4;), and (&#x3b6;) the content of highly volatile components of the obtained reaction mixture is thermally reduced at a temperature of 80&#xb0; C. to 200&#xb0; C. The invention is characterized in that (&#x3b5;) the reaction mixture resulting from step (&#x3b4;) is brought to a total pressure (absolute) of &#x2264;2.0 bar, preferably 0.5 bar to 2.0 bar, particularly preferably 0.9 bar to 1.1 bar, prior to step (&#x3b6;) and then left at a temperature of 80 to 180&#xb0; C. for a dwell time of at least 0.5 h. After the dwell time has expired, 5 to 100 ppm of component K is added to the resulting mixture, component K being selected from at least one compound which contains a phosphorus-oxygen-hydrogen group.

Method for producing polyether carbonate polyols

The invention relates to a process for producing polyoxymethylene block copolymers, comprising the step of activating the DMC catalyst in the presence of an OH-terminated polymeric formaldehyde starter compound by means of a defined amount of alkylene oxide, optionally followed by polymerization with alkylene oxides, if necessary in the presence of other comonomers. The invention further relates to polyoxymethylene block copolymers that can be obtained by means of such a process and to the use of these for producing polyurethane polymers.

Use of alcohols which contain at least two urethane groups for producing polyether carbonate polyols

Process for preparing polyether carbonate polyols

The invention relates to a method for producing polyurethane soft foam by reacting an isocyanate component with a component which is reactive towards isocyanates. The component which is reactive towards isocyanates comprises a mixture of at least one polyether carbonate polyol and a polyether polyol as the constituents. In the component which is reactive towards isocyanates, the total proportion of polyether carbonate polyols is =20 wt. % to =80 wt. % and the total proportion of polyether polyol is =20 wt. % to =80 wt. %, based on the total weight of the provided polyols.
