A device for melt-spinning, drawing, and winding a thread group includes a spinning device having a row of spinning nozzles. The threads produced by the spinning nozzles are drawn by means of a godet device with multiple drivable godets. The device is paired with a winding device with multiple winding stations arranged in a row. The row of winding stations is arranged orthogonally to the row of spinning nozzles. The different thread spacings within the spinning device and the godet device are bridged by a thread deflecting device having a first group of thread guides and a second group of thread guides. The thread guides of the first group are arranged next to one another in a horizontal row with a spinning spacing. It is possible to obtain large deflections with a low height. The thread guides of the two groups are made of freely rotatable rollers.

Device for melt-spinning, drawing, and winding a thread group

Techniques for melt spinning and cooling of multifilament polyamide threads are described. The process involves multiple filament bundles spun alongside one another and cooled down separately by streams of cooling air flowing radially from the outside to the inside. Streams of cooling air are produced from a blowing chamber connected to a pressure source. Exhaust gases that occur during the spinning are removed through exhaust openings before the cooling of the filament bundles. An air pressure is set within the blowing chamber in such a way that the exhaust gases in the vicinity of the filament bundles are blown out through the exhaust openings from the inside outwards. A blowing box is assigned a pressure setting means for setting an air pressure within the blowing chamber, by which an air pressure for blowing out the exhaust gases can be set at the exhaust openings of a connection adapter.

Process and device for the melt spinning and cooling of multifilament threads

A spinning apparatus for producing a plurality of yarns, wherein the yarns are produced by combining a plurality of filament bundles. To this end, the spinning apparatus includes a plurality of extruders for producing a plurality of melt flows, which are distributed by a plurality of distributor pumps to at least two spinning positions that are arranged side by side. Each of the spinning positions includes a plurality of spinnerets, which extrude a partial flow from a distributor pump to a filament bundle. Also, the spinning positions are arranged so that at least one filament bundle of one spinning position can be combined to a yarn with at least one filament bundle of an adjacent spinning position.

Yarn melt spinning apparatus and method

An apparatus and a method of stuffer box crimping a synthetic multifilament yarn, wherein the yarn is advanced in a conveying nozzle by means of a heated conveying gas into a stuffer box and compressed to a yarn plug. At the outlet of the stuffer box, a pair of rolls form a conveying gap for advancing the yarn plug and which has a width smaller than the cross section of the plug leaving the stuffer box so as to compress the yarn plug. The internal passage of the stuffer box is constructed with a cross section that increases in the direction of advance in such a manner that no significant cohesive force develops on the yarn plug, and the resistance to the forward pressure in the yarn plug resulting from the heated conveying gas is provided essentially only by the force on the yarn plug generated by its compression in the conveying gap.
