A vehicle rigid axle with an axle beam, at the ends of which axle journals or wheel carriers, respectively, are arranged, and with at least two trailing arms rigidly attached to the axle beam and with at least one air spring bellows assigned to the respective trailing arm. At least one component of an electric drive is placed in the hollow body, the drive shaft of which passes through the axle journal. To form at least one axle journal connection section extending between the two trailing arms, a trailing arm connected thereto and a receptacle for at least one component of an electric drive, two shell elements are formed from sheet metal and connected to one another, in particular welded, to form a hollow body surrounding the receiving space. At least one component of the electric drive is mounted in the receiving space.

Vehicle rigid axle and method of manufacturing same

A vehicle rigid axle with an axle beam, at the ends of which axle journals or wheel carriers, are arranged, and trailing arms rigidly attached with a spring bracket for supporting an air-suspension bellow, and a method for manufacturing the vehicle rigid axle. An axle beam section extending between the trailing arms, a trailing arm adjoining the axle beam section and the spring bracket are formed by two shell elements connected to each other, which form a hollow body. In an embodiment, the spring bracket is formed by a lower shell element forming an axle beam section extending between the two trailing arms, and the spring bracket is arranged so that the air-suspension bellow mounted on the spring bracket is penetrated by the central longitudinal axis of the axle beam section. Two shell elements made of sheet metal are formed and joined together to form a hollow body.

The invention relates to an axle assembly for a commercial vehicle, having an axle produced from a first metal material and at least one trailing link produced from a second metal material which has a connecting portion with a seat which the axle sits with a hollow coupling portion such that the axle and the trailing link are in torque-proof engagement with one another. Axle assembly for a commercial vehicle and method for producing an axle assembly of this type

The invention relates to an integral motor vehicle rear axle of the twist-beam axle type, which comprises an opposed pair of longitudinal control arms (2) of a high flexural strength and torsional stiffness for carrying a wheel carrier for a wheel, and a transverse strut (3) which is resistant to bending but resilient relative to torsional stress and which comprises a profiled cross-section changing the position of the shear center. The transverse strut (3) consists of an extruded aluminum profile with an extrusion structure extending in the longitudinal direction of the transverse strut. A method of producing a motor vehicle rear axle of the twist-beam axle type using transverse struts and longitudinal control arms consists in joining the longitudinal control arms (2) with a transverse carrier or strut (3) which, at each end, comprises a bore, opening or bonding surface extending transversely to the longitudinal axis, and in connecting said longitudinal control arms in a form-fitting and force-locking way, such as by hydro-forming, welding or similar methods.

Twist beam axle and method of producing same

An air spring has a piston having an upper end and a lower end. A roll bellows having a first end connected to the upper end of the piston is provided. A cover is connected to the second end of the roll bellows. The lower end of the piston is open and has a connecting device for directly connecting the air spring to a pull rod of an air spring axle arrangement.

Disclosed is a hinge past system which enables an operator to simultaneously install and position a door at a desired location on the body of a motor vehicle. The hinge past system includes a hinge having a first section and a second section. The second section is rotatably connected to the first section. The second section further includes a key for securing the door to the vehicle and for adjusting the position of the door relative to the vehicle, along the longitudinal axis. The hinge post system further includes hinge post having a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber has an extension for securing the post to the vehicle. The second chamber includes an extension and other means for adjusting the position of the hinge relative to the second chamber along the vertical and lateral axes. The longitudinal, vertical and lateral axes are substantially perpendicular to one another.
