A mounting assembly for mounting an adapter to a valve stem of a valve of a pressurized container for the application of foam, where the adapter is configured to be mounted by means of the female threaded element onto the male threaded element of the valve stem by means of an axial screwing movement up to the mounted position, wherein the adapter further comprises a locking element at the extreme upstream end that is configured, when mounting, under the effect of the axial screwing movement towards the mounted position, to move past the collar and secure the female threaded element in the mounted position.

The present invention relates to a valve member for a dispenser valve for foam products, and in particular for a dispenser valve for polyurethane foam container, comprising a valve member that is moveable relative to a sealing. It also relates to such a dispenser valve and to a foam container. In order to provide alternative materials for valve members, it is proposed according to the invention that the valve member is made of plastic material filled with basalt particles in an amount between 1% and 60% by weight. It has been surprisingly found that valve members made of plastic filled with basalt particles in these amounts show improved properties, such as strength and abrasion rates, compared to non-filled plastics and compared to glass-filled plastics.

Valve member

A valve for dispensing moisture reactive liquids is disclosed. The valve has a valve cup for tightly closing a container including a through opening, and a first annular fold forming a groove in a first, inner surface and a rib in a second, outer surface. The valve includes a resilient grommet and a valve stem. The valve stem includes a hollow tubular portion, defining a central bore snugly fitting in the grommet central bore and extending on both sides of the grommet with a first end opening to ambient and a second, opposite end being closed by a circular end base greater than the diameter of the bore of the grommet. The upper surface of the flange portion of the grommet mates with the first, inner surface of the cup including the portion of the grommet mating the groove formed by the fold.

An adapter for a pressurized dispensing container containing a viscous foamable solution includes a dip tube in connection with the container and arranged for conveying the viscous foamable solution towards a tip seal. A tip seal for use with the adapter includes a core part with an at least partially open proximal end and at least partially open distal end. The core part is at least partially inserted into the dip tube at the proximal end. A cap part is movably connected with the core part at the distal end of the core part between an open position and a closed position of the tip seal. The cap part comprises a closure element adapted for closing off the at least partially open distal end of the core part in the closed position of the tip seal.
