Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing authorization revocation for unmanned aerial vehicles. A cellular network element of a cellular network may receive a request to revoke authorization of a wireless device that is an element in an unmanned aerial system. The cellular network element may provide an indication to the wireless device to disconnect from any other elements of the unmanned aerial system based at least in part on the request to revoke authorization.

Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE), manufacturer server, and/or cellular network to perform radio capability signaling. A new type of UE radio capability identifier is provided which may allow a network to distinguish between similar UEs that have or have not implemented a capability update. In order to perform a forced capability update, a manufacturer may issue information about the update to a cellular network (and receive acknowledgement of the information) prior to pushing the update to UEs. In response to an unforced capability update, a cellular network may maintain multiple UE radio capability identifiers for similar UEs which have or have not implemented the update. A UE radio capability identifier may be adjusted dynamically in response to temporary changes in the UE's capability.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing network slice quota management. A network slice quota management function may store capacity information for one or more network slices. The network slice quota management function may receive a request for an indication of whether a network slice has additional capacity. The network slice quota management function may provide an indication of whether the network slice has additional capacity in response to the request. The capacity information may relate to the capacity of the network slice with respect to the number of wireless devices registered for the network slice, or to the capacity of the network slice with respect to the number of packet sessions established with the network slice, or both, among various possibilities.

This disclosure relates to techniques for selecting a low power measurement mode (LPM mode). A wireless device may enter an idle mode, determine that it is stationary, and enter an LPM mode. In the LPM mode, the wireless device may perform cell measurements at a reduced frequency.

A wireless device may establish a cellular link that provides access to a fifth generation core network. The wireless device may determine one or more Quality of Service flow descriptions for the protocol data unit session. The wireless device may perform one or more Quality of Service related modifications to the protocol data unit session.

A fifth-generation core network (5GC) provides 5G radio access network (RAN) services to a user equipment (UE) in a time-sensitive communications (TSC) network (TSN). This includes receiving a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment request from the UE, the PDU session establishment request including an industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) vertical or application type, identifying a TSN application function (AF) relating to the IIoT vertical or application type, determining quality of service (QoS) parameters for communications between the UE and the 5G RAN based on the identified TSN AF, the QoS parameters including a survival time for the IIoT vertical or application type and establishing a PDU session with the UE when the QoS parameters including the survival time are satisfied.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for pairing/unpairing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to/from UAV controllers (UACs). A UAV and/or a UAC may initiate, based on a triggering condition, a paring/unpairing of the UAV to/from a host UAC and receive, from a network, a configuration update that may confirm the paring/unpairing of the UAV to/from the host UAC. The triggering condition may include at least one of the UAV moving from a location designated as controlled by the host UAC, the UAV moving into a location in which the host UAC is restricted from controlling the host UAV, and/or the host UAC losing signaling capabilities. The configuration update may include at least one of a cause code, an identifier associated with the UAV, an identifier associated with the host UAC, an identifier associated with an unmanned aerial system (UAS).

A device implementing a system for preventing duplicate wireless transactions includes a wireless communication controller that is configured to receive a signal for conducting a wireless transaction with a wireless transaction terminal. The wireless communication controller is further configured to determine whether a transaction type of the wireless transaction is associated with a signal strength threshold. The wireless communication controller is further configured to measure a signal strength associated with the wireless transaction upon determining that the transaction type of the wireless transaction is associated with the signal strength threshold. The wireless communication controller is further configured to prevent the wireless transaction from completing when the transaction type of the wireless transaction is associated with the signal strength threshold and the measured signal strength fails to satisfy the signal strength threshold, otherwise allow the wireless transaction to complete.
