An apparatus for cleaning (washing) spherical objects, preferably golf balls, includes two substantially round disks which are disposed in register with one another with an interspace which is less than the diameter of the spherical objects, at least the one disk being rotary and provided with a device for guiding the spherical objects out towards the periphery of the disk, and the second disk has a centrally located infeed opening and is provided with a brush which extends from the surface of the disk at an angle of less than 90&#xb0; to the surface of the disk from the center of the disk out towards the periphery of the disk.

Apparatus for cleaning spherical objects

An apparatus at a driving tee for golf balls or the like, comprising a raisable and lowerable ball support a so-called peg, on which a ball may be placed for driving thereof after lifting of the ball support with the ball to the desired level above the tee, the ball support being disposed on means for switching of the ball support from a low position for loading of the ball support with a ball to a higher position of said desired ball driving level, the ball support being disposed on the switching means via positioning means which are disposed to permit pivoting of the ball support in at least the driving direction, wherein the positioning means include a substantially U-shaped bracket between whose shanks the ball support is pivotal.

Device for a tee

An apparatus for retrieving golf balls and the like includes a number of retrieving sections, each having a frame for one or more receptacle baskets and a retrieving roller with a number of retrieving disks. The frames are connected to a connection rail in side-by-side relationship. The connection rail is readily flexible over its entire length in the vertical plane and is rigid or substantially inflexible in the horizontal plane.

Apparatus for retrieving golf balls

A device for converting or transducing wind power into other power, such as electric power. A wheel is rotatably journalled on a shaft () in the upper region of a tower (). The wheel has a number of blades () between the shaft () and an outer annulus () which is located a distance from the shaft (). The tower () is rotatable for positioning the wheel substantially at right angles to the prevailing direction of the wind. A transmission device () extends between the annulus () of the wheel and the foot of the tower for transducing the transmitted wind power into other power.

Dispenser

An apparatus for the transport of spheroidal objects, for example golf balls, with the aid of an air current generated in a conduit system by a fan unit, from an infeed point (13) to a number of stations in the form of sites of use (teeing-off sites), storage points (magazines, automatic dispensers), and so on. An infeed tube (14) is provided for infeed of the spheroidal objects into the conduit system and discharges the objects at a shunting device (16) which engages the objects in sequence one after another and moves the objects along the infeed tube (14) in a direction towards a conduit in the conduit system from a receptacle point (13). A second shunting device (18) is provided between the receptacle point (13) and the shunting device (16) for urging the spheroidal objects in the opposite direction from the infeed tube (14) towards the receptacle point (13) in the event that the objects are disposed on one another.

Propulsion assembly

A substantially vertical elevator (5) for the transport of round and/or spherical objects, for example golf balls, between different levels, the elevator including a conveyor belt (11) which extends between an upper roller at an upper level and a lower roller at a lower level and which passes a number of emptying points between the rollers. A number of spaced carrier planes (12) extending transversely of the conveyor belt, on which planes the objects are capable of resting during the movement of the conveyor belt (11) from a replenishment point (6) to the emptying point or emptying points. An ejector (13) is disposed, between the carrier planes (12) and is actuable at the emptying points for removal of the objects on the adjacent carrier plane (12) to a receptacle container provided at the emptying point in question.

Elevator device

An apparatus for displacement or advancement of implements such as, for example, ball collectors or harvesters, lawn mowers, etc., wherein a forward beam is provided with at least two spaced pivotal wheels and coupling arrangement for coupling a plurality of implements. The forward beam is connected to a frame provided with at least one steerable drive wheel spaced at a sufficient distance from the beam so that the plurality of implements are provided with sufficient clearance between the frame and the steerable drive wheel.

Drive apparatus for propelling implements

The disclosure relates to an apparatus for washing objects such as golf balls, the apparatus essentially comprising two disks (33,36) which are disposed in register and in spaced-apart relationship, the disks being provided, on their sides facing one another, with brush devices (34,37), the spacing between the bruch devices (34, 37) being less than the diameter of the objects, at least the one disk (36) being rotary and the objects being fed in between the disks (33,36) via a central aperture (35) in the one disk (33).

Apparatus for treating round objects

The disclosure relates to an apparatus which is applicable such as, for example, an automatic golf ball dispenser, and comprises a ball magazine floor which consists of a number of tracks for golf balls so that these are arranged in rows after one another, the ends of the tracks being combined to form a pivotal cradle whose depth corresponds to one golf ball, whereby each pivoting of the cradle entails emptying of only that number of golf balls which is present in the cradle.
