A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes: a housing including a base; a motor coupled to the housing; a plurality of rotating plates arranged at one side of the base in one direction and connected to the motor at a center of the base, the plurality of rotating plates configured to be rotated by the motor and the plurality of rotating plates including a first rotating plate and a second rotating plate; and a plurality of substrates, each of the plurality of substrates including an inorganic light emitting device such that the plurality of substrates are configured to display an image at the one side of the base in the one direction, the plurality of substrates including: a first substrate coupled to the first rotating plate, and a second substrate coupled to the second rotating plate.

A display device includes a main body; a first rotatable shaft included in a first portion of the main body; a second rotatable shaft included in a second portion of the main body, the second portion being opposite to the first portion; a motor disposed inside the main body, and connected to at least one of the first rotatable shaft and the second rotatable shaft; a transparent wire including a first end connected to the first rotatable shaft and a second end connected to the second rotatable shaft; a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) included inside the transparent wire in a longitudinal direction of the transparent wire; a driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of LEDs; and a processor configured to control the motor to rotate the transparent wire, and to provide an image frame to the driving circuit to display an image by rotation of the transparent wire.

Display device and control method thereof

Disclosed is a display device and a method for controlling a device. The display device includes a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) modules arranged in a matrix, a plurality of driver integrated circuits (ICs) configured to drive the plurality of LED modules, and a controller connected to a plurality of first line driver ICs arranged on a first line, among the plurality of driver ICs, and configured to provide a signal for controlling the plurality of driver ICs through the plurality of first line driver ICs arranged on the first line. Each of the plurality of driver ICs is connected to at least one adjacent driver IC. The signal for controlling each of the plurality of driver ICs comprises, for each LED module corresponding to each of the plurality of driver ICs, a channel signal for controlling each channel of the LED module, and a scan signal for controlling each scan line of the LED module.

A display device includes a plurality of pixels. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a first, a second, and a third sub pixel that are disposed in a vertical direction. A first pixel of the plurality of pixels includes: a first sub pixel of the first pixel, a second sub pixel of the first pixel, which is disposed to be spaced apart from the first sub pixel of the first pixel by a first distance, and a third sub pixel of the first pixel, which is disposed to be spaced apart from the second sub pixel of the first pixel by the first distance. A second pixel of the plurality of pixels also includes a first sub pixel and a second sub pixel, which are separated apart by a second distance that is different from the first distance.

Display device and method for manufacturing same

A display module includes a substrate, a ground layer disposed in the substrate, a plurality of self-emissive devices provided on a front surface of the substrate, a first driver integrated circuit (IC) provided on a rear surface of the substrate, and a first heat dissipation structure connected to the ground layer, and including a first ground pad exposed to the rear surface of the substrate. The first heat dissipation structure is configured to dissipate heat to the rear surface of the substrate.

A display module and a method for manufacturing thereof are provided. The display module includes a substrate including a pad, a conduction film which is bonded to the substrate including the pad, wherein at least one of a surface of the conduction film and an inner portion of the conduction film is black color treated, and a display device mounted on the pad to which the conduction film is bonded.
