A light emitting display device includes a circuit layer having an auxiliary power electrode disposed on a substrate, a first protective layer covering the circuit layer, a second protective layer disposed between the first protective layer and the auxiliary power electrode, a contact portion penetrating the first protective layer and the second protective layer to expose a portion of the auxiliary power electrode, and a step cover pattern disposed in a step coverage region between the first protective layer and the second protective layer in the periphery of the contact portion.

An electroluminescence display having a repair structure is disclosed. The electroluminescence display comprises: a substrate, a buffer layer on the substrate, a repair element, and a pixel including a thin film transistor and a light emitting element. The thin film transistor includes a source electrode, a drain electrode, a semiconductor layer, a gate electrode, and a gate insulating layer between the gate electrode and the semiconductor layer. The light emitting element is connected to the drain electrode. The repair element includes a repair line and a repair electrode. The repair line is disposed between the substrate and the buffer layer, and includes a first metal layer on the substrate, and a second metal layer on the first metal layer. The repair electrode is on the buffer layer and the gate insulating layer that covers the repair line and the repair electrode overlaps the repair line.

A display apparatus is provided, which includes a substrate having a plurality of subpixels, a planarization layer provided on the substrate, including a first area in which protrusions are formed and a second area positioned between the protrusions, a first electrode provided on the planarization layer, a light emitting layer provided on the first electrode, a second electrode provided on the light emitting layer, and a first groove provided on an upper portion of the protrusion, wherein the protrusion is provided between two adjacent subpixels, and the first electrode covers an entire surface of the second area and a portion of the protrusion.

A transparent organic light emitting display apparatus includes a pixel area having an emission area and a transmission area disposed adjacent to the emission area, where the emission area is configured to display an image and the transmission area configured to pass external light. The transmission area includes a planarization layer covering a thin film transistor of the emission area, and including an overhanging portion, an encapsulation layer disposed on the planarization layer, and an undercut area disposed below the overhanging portion of the planarization layer and filled by the encapsulation layer. The transmission area further includes an emission layer, a cathode electrode, and the encapsulation layer covering the overhanging portion of the planarization layer. The emission layer, the cathode electrode and the encapsulation layer are disposed on the undercut area.

Flexible display apparatus

A transparent organic light emitting display apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same are discussed. The transparent organic light emitting display apparatus can comprise an emission area, a transmission area disposed adjacent to the emission area and configured to pass external light therethrough, and an undercut area formed in the transmission area, wherein the undercut area is filled by an encapsulation layer.
