An organic light emitting display, a method for driving the same, and a method for manufacturing the same are discussed. The organic light emitting display according to an embodiment includes a panel including subpixels each having a compensation circuit including a reference voltage supply transistor, which receives a reference voltage and initializes a node of a gate electrode or a drain electrode of a driving transistor using the reference voltage, a scan driver supplying a scan signal to scan lines of the panel, a data driver supplying a data signal to data lines of the panel, a timing controller that controls the scan driver and the data driver, and a reference voltage compensation unit supplying the reference voltage including a reverse voltage opposite a ripple generated in the reference voltage to the subpixels and cancel the ripple.

An organic light emitting display includes a display panel including data lines, gate lines crossing the data lines, and pixels and a panel driving circuit which supplies a data voltage to the pixels of the display panel during a power-on period and then is additionally driven for a predetermined power-on delay duration time delayed from a power-off start time of a power input signal. The panel driving circuit supplies a reverse polarity recovery voltage having a polarity opposite the data voltage to the pixels or supplies a recovery voltage, which is different from a gate voltage of a driving element of each of the pixels, to a source terminal of the driving element of each pixel for the predetermined power-on delay duration time.

A gate driver and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display including the gate driver are disclosed. The gate driver includes a shift register block including a plurality of cascade-connected shift registers, a selection block including a plurality of selection units, which are respectively connected to the plurality of shift registers, and a buffer block including a plurality of buffers, which are respectively connected to the plurality of selection units. Each of the shift registers outputs a scan pulse, whose a phase is shifted by one horizontal period, in response to a start voltage, a first clock, a second clock, and a third clock.

The gate driving circuit comprises: a plurality of shift registers, wherein each of the shift registers includes a plurality of stages which sequentially output a gate signal, wherein the stages of a kth shift register are activated when a kth SR selection signal generated as a first logic level voltage is input, and the stages of the kth shift register are not activated when the kth SR selection signal generated as a second logic level voltage is input, wherein k is a natural number equal to or less than the number of the shift registers.
