Disclosed is a server, a system, and a method for providing additional content simultaneously with main content. The system includes: a server for multiplexing a second content with a first content which is streaming-transmitted, and streaming-transmitting, to a terminal, a mixed content produced by multiplexing the second content with the first content; and the terminal for receiving the mixed content, demultiplexing the mixed content to separate the second content from the first content, streaming-reproducing the first content, and storing the separated second content therein. Accordingly, the system does not need a configuration of another system for providing additional content, which presents separate conditions for providing the additional content and determines if the separate conditions are satisfied. Namely, if a condition for receiving only a particular period of the particular content is satisfied, a user of the terminal can receive and use the additional content along with the particular content.

Server, system and method that providing additional contents

A system for evaluating video quality using auxiliary information of a codec includes a video transmitter that includes a source video input unit for inputting source video, an encoding unit for encoding the input source video, a decoding unit for decoding encoded video data, and a video quality evaluation unit for evaluating video quality using the decoded video data. The encoding unit transmits auxiliary information required for video quality evaluation, among information acquired in an encoding procedure, to the video quality evaluation unit. The video quality evaluation unit evaluates video quality using the decoded video data received from the decoding unit, and the auxiliary information received from the encoding unit.

Systems and methods for video quality measurement using auxiliary information of codec

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for evaluating video quality. The systems include a video transmitter and a video receiver. The transmitter generates feature parameters from a reference video to be transmitted and transmits the generated feature parameters along with compressed video data via a network. The video receiver receives the feature parameters and the compressed video data via the network, evaluates the video quality of the received video using the feature parameters and transmits video quality evaluation results to the video transmitter via the network.

Systems and methods for objective video quality measurements

Methods and apparatuses for measuring transmission quality of multimedia data are provided. The method comprises the steps of a transmitter transmitting multimedia data through a channel, a receiver, having received the multimedia data from the transmitter, transmitting information on transmission error of the multimedia data to the transmitter through a return channel, the transmitter estimating the received data at the receiver using the error information returned to the transmitter, and the transmitter evaluating the transmission quality of the received data by comparing the estimated received data with reference data.
