An apparatus and method for diagnosing a watchdog timer is provided. The watchdog timer is used to detect and recover from a malfunction of a battery management system. Before entering a shutdown mode in response to a shutdown command from an external device, the apparatus outputs an invalid trigger signal to the watchdog timer and diagnoses a malfunction of the watchdog timer depending on whether the watchdog timer outputs a reset signal.

The present invention relates to a novel polypeptide that binds selectively to mouse or rabbit immunoglobulin G. More specifically, the present invention relates to a polypeptide that binds to mouse or rabbit immunoglobulin G, a polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide, an expression vector comprising the polynucleotide, a transformant introduced with the expression vector, a method of producing the polypeptide using the transformant, and a composition for immunoassay comprising the polypeptide. The novel peptide according to the present invention binds specifically to mouse or rabbit immunoglobulin G, can replace conventional expensive secondary immunoglobulin G, and can be used in various biological immunoassays. In addition, a conjugate of the polypeptide of the present invention and immunoglobulin G is useful for fabrication of various immunosensors/immunochips and for drug screening.

The present invention relates to a polypeptide capable of binding specifically to the extracellular domain of epidermal growth factor receptor, a polynucleotide that encodes the polypeptide, an expression vector comprising the polynucleotide, a recombinant microorganism having the expression vector introduced therein, and a method of producing the polypeptide using the recombinant microorganism. The polypeptide according to the present invention can bind to the extracellular domain of epidermal growth factor receptor with a high binding affinity comparable to those of existing monoclonal antibodies that are widely used as targeted therapeutic agents, thereby inhibiting the activity of the epidermal growth factor receptor. The polypeptide is useful for the development of agents for the prevention or diseases associated with overexpression of epidermal growth factor receptor.

Polypeptide binding to extracellular domain of epidermal growth factor receptor

The present invention relates to novel polypeptide for binding to a complement protein C5a. More particularly, the present invention relates to polypeptide which can be bound to a complement protein C5a and inhibit the activation of same, polynucleotide which codes for the polypeptide, a recombinant vector which comprises the polynucleotide, a recombinant microorganism to which the recombinant vector has been introduced, a method for producing the polypeptide by means of the recombinant microorganism, and a pharmaceutical composition, for treating immune diseases or sepsis, containing the polypeptide. The repebody of the present invention significantly reduces the activity of signal transduction and activator of transciption3 (STAT3) and the concentration of interleukin-6, and thus can be widely used as an agent for preventing or treating IL-6-related diseases.

A battery warm up system according to the present disclosure includes a battery state measuring unit to measure a state of charge (SOC) of each module of a battery pack of a vehicle, a control unit to optionally output a forced discharging start signal and to output a balancing start signal, a forced discharging circuit unit to force at least one battery module among a plurality of battery modules of the battery pack to be discharged in response to the forced discharging start signal, and a balancing unit to balance the SOC of each of the battery modules in response to the balancing start signal.

A power source for vehicles according to the present disclosure includes a secondary battery pack to support power required to start up a vehicle and power required for an electronic device equipped in the vehicle together, and having an operating voltage range of 9V to 19V in which a maximum operating voltage ranges from 16V to 19V and an average voltage is higher than or equal to 12V, and an alternator to produce a charging power for the secondary battery pack in response to operation of an engine of the vehicle.
