A foldable mobile device is provided. The device includes an antenna cavity substantially enclosed by at least four conductor walls, and a gap between two substantially perpendicular conductor walls at a first side of the antenna cavity. The device further includes a cavity extension extending at a direction substantially perpendicular to the first side of the cavity and aligned with the gap. Devices, methods, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium are disclosed.

Device and a method for an antenna with a cavity extension

An antenna arrangement comprising a dielectric element, at least one conductive element, an antenna radiator, and a plurality of exciter elements. The antenna radiator arranged at a first surface of the dielectric element and at a distance from the conductive element such that a gap is formed between the antenna radiator and a first surface of the conductive element. The exciter elements extend at least partially through a gap and are arranged on or adjacent to the conductive element. The antenna radiator may comprise a conductive material and be printed, sintered, painted, laminated, or deposited onto the first surface of the dielectric element, or molded into the dielectric element.

Multi-feed antenna arrangement for electronic apparatus

A cavity-backed slot antenna for an electronic device comprises a first conductive structure and a second conductive structure. A dielectric slot extends between the first conductive structure and the second conductive structure. A third conductive structure extends from the first conductive structure and is juxtaposed with the dielectric slot. A dielectric volume is partially enclosed by the first conductive structure, the second conductive structure, and the third conductive structure, and the dielectric volume comprises the dielectric slot.

An antenna arrangement for a communication device comprises a top conductive patch comprising at least a first coupling point and a second coupling point coupled to one or more feed circuits carrying a radio frequency (RF) signal to or from the top conductive patch. The RF signal has a first phase in the first coupling point and a second phase in the second coupling point. A first slot extends in the conductive patch between the first coupling point and the second coupling point. The antenna arrangement according enables a desired current distribution to be realized in the antenna in a controlled and systematic manner. A communication device includes such an antenna arrangement.

The first conductive structure is wholly or partially enclosed by the second conductive structure and comprises a conductive surface and a non-conductive pattern. A mobile terminal includes a display, a side frame, a back cover and an antenna. The antenna includes a conductive support and a feeding part. The conductive support includes a first portion and a third portion disposed opposite to each other, and a second portion and a fourth portion disposed opposite to each other. The four portions are made of conductive materials and jointly enclose a cavity. The second portion is disposed on an inner side of the display. The third portion is a part of the side frame. The fourth portion is located on an outer side or an inner side of the back cover, or is a part of the back cover. A gap is disposed between the fourth portion and the first portion, or is disposed in the fourth portion, and the antenna can radiate electromagnetic wave signal through the cavity and the gap.

An antenna system for a mobile device includes a first electrically conductive member having a plurality of segments including at least a first corner segment and a central segment that is disposed adjacent to the first corner segment. A dielectric material is disposed in a gap between the first corner segment and the central segment. A second electrically conductive member is disposed within the mobile device. A first end of the second electrically conductive member is connected to the first corner segment. A portion of the second electrically conductive member away from the first end is electrically connected to a first feeding portion. The central segment is connected to a second feeding portion.
