An electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a hall integrated circuit (IC) configured to detect magnetic flux generated by an external device enclosing at least a portion of the electronic device; a wireless charging circuit; and at least one processor configured to be connected to the hall IC and the wireless charging circuit, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: receive an output value for the detected magnetic flux from the hall IC; and control the wireless charging circuit, based on the output value.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device and a charging control method therefor. The electronic device may comprise: a connection terminal for performing wired communication with an external electronic device; and at least one processor functionally connected to the connection terminal, wherein the at least one processor detects connection of a charging device through the connection terminal, receives state information of at least one adjacent terminal located next to a power terminal of the connection terminal, and controls charging power to be supplied thereto through the charging device, on the basis of the received state information of the adjacent terminal. The method for sensing moisture in an electronic device includes sensing moisture introduced into a connector of the electronic device in a state where one or more functions executable by connection of the connector with an external electronic device are activated. Further, the method includes deactivating the one or more functions based on the sensing; determining whether the introduced moisture is removed in a state where the one or more functions are deactivated; and activating the one or more functions if the moisture is removed.

Electronic device and method for sensing moisture in an electronic device

An electronic device including a housing that encloses a space between opposing faces and has an opening in a side face of the housing, the opening including a hole portion. A tray is configured to be inserted into the hole during mounting of the tray and removed therefrom when the tray is demounted. The device further includes a first fixing structure disposed substantially parallel to a side face of the tray inside the hole, and configured to be at least partially rotated about an axis in a direction outwardly from the hole. Further, including two terminals vertically arranged inside the hole with the tray being interposed therebetween so the terminals do not contact the tray, and a control circuit electrically connected to at least one of the first terminal and the second terminal, wherein, when the first terminal and the second terminal are electrically connected to each other, the control circuit is configured to detect demounting of the tray, and when the first terminal and the second terminal are electrically separated from each other, the control circuit is configured to detect mounting of the tray from the hole portion.
