The present invention relates to a signal processing device for monitoring states of wind-power turbine blades and a method thereof, the signal processing device comprising: an optical fiber sensor unit for sensing moment of rotation of three blades so as to output the moment of rotation as blade signals; a signal transformation unit for converting three blade signals into two fore-ape signals; a rotation information input unit for sensing rotation information of the blades; a rotation speed estimation unit for estimating a rotation speed of the blades on the basis of the rotation information; a state determination unit which removes rotation components from the fore-ape signals and determines whether an operation of a blade is abnormal; and an output unit for outputting the determination result. According to the present invention, two fore-ape signals which are simpler than three blade signals can be processed such that an efficient signal analysis is enabled and the efficiency of determining a state of blades is improved, thereby efficiently managing and maintaining the blades.

Signal processing device for monitoring state of wind-power turbine blades and method thereof

The present invention provides a method of automatically calculating a power curve limit for the power curve monitoring of a wind turbine that may set an optimal power curve limit by automatically calculating a power curve limit for power curve monitoring even if wind speed-power data measured at a wind turbine includes a large amount of abnormal data in addition to normal data. To this end, the present invention includes: classifying, by an input data classifying unit, the input data on wind power generation through a variable speed bin; calculating, by a power calculating unit, a power average value and standard deviation for each bin for the classified input data; estimating, by a power curve estimating unit, a power curve for the calculated power average value for each bin; searching for, by a limit searching unit, an accurate power curve limit while moving the estimated power curve; and setting, by a data extracting unit, the data included in the accurate power curve limit as new input data.

Method of automatically calculating power curve limit for power curve monitoring of wind turbine

The present disclosure relates to a robot mechanism for nondestructive aging evaluation of a cable. The robot mechanism includes at least two inspection modules, and a coupler disposed between the at least two inspection modules and connected to each of the inspection modules to adjust a separation between the inspection modules. Each of the inspection modules approaches a cable and automatically inspects an aged state of the cable. The robot mechanism automatically measures an aged state of a cable in a nondestructive manner and establishes a database of cable aging, so that normal operation of the cable can be ensured through stable management of the cable by evaluating a replacement time and the aged state of the cable based on the database.

A robot mechanism adopts a dry cleaning method to clean the surface of live-line insulators without using water and can perform cleaning and inspection of the surface of the live-line insulators while automatically moving along an insulator string. The robot mechanism includes a main unit having upper and lower wing frames connected with each other by a connecting bracket to surround the insulator string, a cleaning unit disposed between the upper and lower wing frames and including a base frame to perform dry cleaning with a rotational brush and a CM guide, a lift unit including a clamp and a ball-bearing screw to move the main unit up or down, and an inspection unit to electrically inspect the insulators; and a coupling unit to couple a pair of the main units to allow the pair of main units to move along a tension insulator string or a suspension insulator string.
