A semiconductor pattern detecting apparatus is provided. The semiconductor pattern detecting apparatus includes a stage configured to position a wafer formed with a semiconductor pattern, the stage extending in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, an electron emitter configured to irradiate first electrons on the semiconductor pattern, an electrode configured to generate an electric field to induce an electric potential on a surface of the semiconductor pattern, a detector configured to detect second electrons emitted from the semiconductor pattern, an imager configured to obtain a plurality of first images by using the second electrons detected by the detector, and at least one controller configured to apply a first voltage and a second voltage different from the first voltage to the electrode alternately and repeatedly and to generate a second image by combining the plurality of first images, wherein the imager is so configured that each of the plurality of first images are obtained when the first voltage is applied to the electrode.

A touch sensor is disclosed. The touch sensor includes a touch panel including sensing nodes arranged in a matrix form and sensing lines connected to the sensing nodes, a touch sensing unit for providing driving signals for driving the sensing nodes, and a selector including a plurality of multiplexers for selectively providing the driving signals provided from the touch sensing unit to the sensing lines of the touch panels, wherein each of the multiplexers is selectively connected to two or more corresponding sensing nodes among the sensing nodes, and the two or more sensing nodes of the touch panel, selectively connected to each of the multiplexers, are positioned at different columns and rows.

Touch sensor, display apparatus including the same, and method of sensing touch panel

According to embodiments, methods of scanning a touch panel and a touch integrated circuit (IC) for performing the same are disclosed. The touch IC simultaneously supplies a first driving signal having a first phase and a second driving signal having a second phase to a first driving line and a second driving line of the touch panel, respectively, and detects a sensing signal from a sensing line crossing the first driving line and the second driving line. The touch IC acquires a first scanning signal corresponding to the first driving line and a second scanning signal corresponding to the second driving line from the sensing signal.

Method of scanning touch panel and touch integrated circuit for performing the same

A touch panel includes a transparent substrate, a first pattern/layer on the transparent substrate, and an second pattern/layer on or under the first pattern/layer. The first pattern/layer includes first electrodes detecting a first coordinate value and first metal interconnections connecting the first electrodes to a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB). The second pattern/layer includes second electrodes detecting a second coordinate value and second metal interconnections connecting the second electrodes to the FPCB. The first and second metal interconnections extend on side and back surfaces of the transparent electrode. Therefore, the metal interconnections connect the first and second patterns/layers to the FPCB by being formed on the side and back surfaces of the transparent substrate, which reduces the length and/or width of the bezel (a non-active region).

Touch panel and method of manufacturing the same

Disclosed is a touch screen panel including a plurality of separate sensing electrodes, and a plurality of separate driving electrodes. Each of the sensing electrodes includes a main electrode and a plurality of expanded parts. Each of the expanded parts includes a sub-electrode extending from the main electrode and at least one expanded electrode extending from the sub-electrode. Each of the driving electrodes surrounds at least part of a corresponding one of the expanded parts.
