Organic light-emitting display device and method of manufacturing the same

An organic light-emitting display having an improved aperture ratio, the organic light-emitting display including a rear electrode, an opposite electrode, and a pixel electrode between the rear electrode and the opposite electrode. Here, an insulating layer is interposed between the pixel electrode and the rear electrode, wherein the pixel electrode, the insulating layer, and the rear electrode are configured as a capacitor of the organic light-emitting display. In such a structure, as the capacitor is disposed in a light-emitting area where the pixel electrode exists, it is not necessary to provide an additional space for a capacitor, thus improving an aperture ratio of the display.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes: a first substrate including a display area and a non-display area; a driving element on the display area of the first substrate, and including a driving thin film transistor, a switching thin film transistor, and a capacitor; a circuit unit on the non-display area of the first substrate; an organic light emitting element on the driving element, and including a pixel electrode, an organic emission layer, and a common electrode; an inorganic protective layer covering the circuit unit and the common electrode of the organic light emitting diode; a sealing member on the inorganic protective layer in the non-display area of the first substrate; and a second substrate on the sealing member.

Organic light emitting diode display and manufacturing method of the same

An organic light-emitting display and a method of manufacturing the organic light-emitting display are disclosed. In one embodiment, the organic light-emitting display includes: i) a pixel electrode disposed on a substrate, ii) an opposite electrode disposed opposite to the pixel electrode, iii) an organic emission layer disposed between the pixel electrode and the opposite electrode; a light-scattering portion disposed between the substrate and the organic emission layer, including a plurality of scattering patterns for scattering light emitted from the organic emission layer in insulating layers having different refractive indexes. The display may further include a plurality of light absorption portions disposed between the light-scattering portion and the organic emission layer to correspond to the scattering patterns.

An organic light-emitting display apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same. The organic light-emitting display apparatus includes an organic light-emitting device in which a pixel electrode, an intermediate layer that includes an emissive layer, and a cathode electrode are sequentially stacked. The cathode contact unit includes a cathode bus line that is formed on the same layer as the pixel electrode and contacts the cathode electrode, a first auxiliary electrode that is formed on the cathode bus line along an edge area of the cathode bus line, and a second auxiliary electrode that contacts the first auxiliary electrode.

A metal layer separated from a pixel electrode is formed without increasing the number of masks, thereby simplifying the pixel electrode and obtaining etching characteristics of a gate electrode.

A thin film transistor (TFT) and an organic light emitting display device having the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a TFT includes a gate electrode formed on a substrate. A gate insulating layer is formed on the substrate having the gate electrode. An active layer is formed on the gate insulating layer. A source electrode is formed over the active layer. A drain electrode is formed to substantially surround at least three surfaces of the source electrode on the active layer.
