A liquid crystal display includes a display substrate which includes a plurality of pixel areas and is curved in a first direction, an opposite substrate which faces the display substrate, is coupled to the display substrate, and is curved along the display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate, where a plurality of domains are defined in each of the plurality of pixel areas, directions in which liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer are aligned are different from each other in at least two domains among the plurality of domains, and the plurality of domains is arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction.

Liquid crystal display

A display device including an optical member, a display panel disposed above the optical member, and a plurality of light emitting units disposed below the optical member and providing a first color light to the optical member. The optical member may include a glass substrate containing an upper surface and a lower surface facing each other in a thickness direction and overlapping the plurality of light emitting units in a plan view, and a quantum dot layer disposed directly on the upper surface or the lower surface and converting the first color light into a second color light and a third color light.

A display device includes: a data driver for driving a plurality of data lines; a voltage generator for generating at least one driving voltage to be provided to the data driver; and a driving controller for providing a second image signal and a reference gamma selection signal to the data driver in response to a first image signal and a control signal received from the outside, wherein the driving controller outputs a voltage control signal for changing a voltage level of the at least one driving voltage, and the reference gamma selection signal, based on metadata included in the first image signal, and the data driver receives the reference gamma selection signal and the at least one driving voltage to provide, to the plurality of data lines, data voltage signals corresponding to the second image signal.
