Valve actuator

A valve actuator includes: a motor and a gear assembly transmitting a driving force of the motor to a ball valve. The gear assembly includes: an input gear coupled to a rotational shaft of the motor and rotating with the rotational shaft, an output gear spaced apart from the input gear, coupled to a stem of the ball valve, and transmitting a rotational force of the input gear to the stem, and a power transmission gear transmitting the rotational force of the input gear to the output gear and including a first gear set disposed between the input gear and the output gear. The first gear set includes a clutch shaft moving in a vertical direction, and a first gear and a second gear that are coupled to the clutch shaft and, based on vertical movement of the clutch shaft, disengage from or couple to each other.

An electric motor assembly includes a stator and a rotor configured to rotate relative to the stator. The stator includes a stator core including a yoke that has a ring shape and a plurality of teeth radially coupled to an inner surface of the yoke, a stator coil that is wound around the stator core, and an insulator disposed between the stator core and the stator coil. The insulator includes a yoke insulator that is coupled to the yoke with a first coupling tolerance defined between the yoke insulator and the plurality of tooth insulators, and a plurality of tooth insulators that are coupled to the plurality of teeth, respectively, with a second coupling tolerance defined between the yoke and the plurality of teeth. The first coupling tolerance is less than the second coupling tolerance.

Electric motor assembly

A valve actuator includes a motor and a gear assembly including an input gear rotated by driving force of the motor, an output gear receiving rotational force of the input gear, and at least one power transmission gear transmitting the rotational force of the input gear to the output gear. The valve actuator further includes a valve output shaft actuated to close a path of a valve, and a selective power transmitter selectively transmitting the rotational force of the output gear to the valve output shaft. The selective power transmitter includes a cam portion provided in at least one of the output gear and the valve output shaft. Accordingly, after the valve is actuated to close the path, the driving force of the motor is not transmitted to the valve output shaft.

A valve actuator includes: a housing, a motor that is disposed in the housing and that includes a motor shaft, a drive gear coupled to the motor shaft, a transfer gear that engages with the drive gear and that is configured to, based on the drive gear rotating, be rotated according to a predetermined gear ratio, an output shaft disposed in the housing, an output gear that is coupled to the output shaft and that engages with the transfer gear, and a stopper that is disposed in the housing and that is configured to control a rotation radius of the output gear. The transfer gear comprises an inner part, an outer part disposed at an outside of the inner part, a first magnet disposed at the outer part, and a second magnet that is disposed at the inner part and that faces the first magnet.

A valve actuator includes a motor and a gear assembly including an input gear rotated by driving force of the motor, an output gear receiving rotational force of the input gear, and at least one power transmission gear transmitting the rotational force of the input gear to the output gear. The valve actuator further includes a valve output shaft coupled to the output gear and actuated to close a path of a valve, and a selective power transmitter interrupting rotation of the output gear after the output gear is rotated at a predetermined angle by the rotational force of the input gear. After the valve is actuated to close the path, the driving force of the motor is not transmitted to the valve output shaft.

A valve actuator includes a motor and a gear assembly that receives driving force of the motor and controls a valve. In the gear assembly, a power transmission gear for transmitting rotational force of an input gear to an output gear includes a selective power transmission unit. When the output gear is in physical contact with a stopper, the power transmission gear transmits the rotational force of the input gear to the output gear is blocked. Accordingly, even after the valve is actuated to close a path, the rotational force of the input gear is not transmitted to the output gear even though the motor is continuously driven.

A valve actuator includes a housing, a motor disposed on the housing, a driving gear coupled to a motor shaft of the motor, a transmission gear which is in external contact with the driving gear and rotates according to a predetermined gear ratio when the driving gear rotates, an output shaft including a main body and a plurality of protrusions radially protruding from the main body and spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction, an output gear coupled to the output shaft and in external contact with the transmission gear, a stopper disposed in the housing and limiting a rotation radius of the output gear, and an elastic member disposed between a lower portion of the plurality of protrusions and a lower plate of the housing.

An electric motor assembly includes a housing, an impeller disposed inside the housing, a stator disposed at one side of the impeller in an axial direction of the impeller, the stator comprising a plurality of coil parts, a rotor that includes a rotation shaft connected to the impeller and that is configured to rotate relative to the stator, a bracket that is coupled to the housing and supports the rotation shaft, and a connection ring that electrically connects together end portions of the plurality of coil parts.

A motor may include a shield member that screens a magnetic field between a stator and a rotor, and a moving member that controls a position of the shield member in response to an electromagnetic interaction with the stator such that the screening of the magnetic field is configured to be selectively performed. The motor may prevent a generation of a counter electromotive force or regenerative braking.

A driving apparatus for an electric vehicle includes a housing, a driving motor, and a planetary gear unit. The planetary gear unit includes a ring gear fixed to the housing and a plurality of planetary gears positioned radially inward from the ring gear. The ring gear includes a ring gear main body configured as a ring-shaped flat plate extending in a radial direction, and a ring gear connection portion extending from an outer peripheral surface of the ring gear main body in an axial direction and contacting the plurality of planetary gears.
