A rack for a microwave oven capable of appropriately cooking food without burning the food, and a microwave oven set equipped with the rack includes a rack section to support the food thereon, and support sections to support the rack section. The rack section includes a plurality of hollow tubes and a hollow net tube. A liquid may be received in the hollow tubes and the hollow net tube. Accordingly, food is cooked without being burnt even when cooking is performed in a microwave oven using heat radiated from a heater.

A microwave oven includes a cooking chamber and a door. The cooking chamber includes a front opening and a bottom plate. The bottom plate is projected forward from the cooking chamber. A microwave oven having a magnetron that generates microwaves, a magnetron driving circuit that supplies high voltage power to the magnetron and a machine room that accommodates the magnetron and the magnetron driving circuit. The microwave oven includes a single magnetron driving circuit board in which the magnetron and the electronic devices of the magnetron driving circuit are mounted thereon. The single magnetron driving circuit board is fixedly attached to the machine room by mounting members.

A grilling apparatus is provided with a grill of an improved structure, thus preventing food from being burnt due to overheating of the grill and reducing a cooking period to cook the food. The grilling apparatus includes a cabinet defining an external appearance of the grilling apparatus. An opening is formed at a top of the cabinet. A grill comprises a plurality of pipes, is set in the cabinet through the opening of the cabinet, and is downwardly bent, at a portion thereof, to form a food supporting part supporting opposite side surfaces of the food. The grilling apparatus includes two water tanks which are connected to respective ends of the plurality of pipes to supply the water to the plurality of pipes. One or more heating units are provided at predetermined positions adjacent to respective sides of the food supporting part in the cabinet so as to irradiate heat to the food supporting part.

The microwave oven includes a hook unit, a hook locking unit, a locking step, and a sensing switch. The hook unit is mounted to the door functioning to open or close a cabinet. The hook locking unit is installed in the cabinet to engage with the hook unit. The locking step is provided in the hook locking unit to catch the hook unit when the hook unit enters the hook locking unit. The sensing switch is installed in the hook locking unit to sense whether the hook unit enters the hook locking unit. A screw holding unit is provided on a predetermined portion of the locking step to hold a setscrew which functions to mount the hook locking unit to the cabinet.

Accordingly, inner devices of the microwave oven are prevented from being damaged by the vibration and impact.

A microwave oven includes a cooking chamber having an opening and a door which selectively opens and closes the opening of the cooking chamber. The door includes a frame which is constructed to form a circumferential edge of the door and be brought into contact with a rim of the opening, and a front plate which is projected forward from both sides of the frame. The door is formed by joining a first piece including the frame with a second piece including the front plate.

A microwave oven includes a cooking chamber having opening and a door which selectively opens and closes the opening of the cooking chamber. The door includes a frame which is constructed to form a circumferential edge of the door and be brought into contact with a rim of the opening, and a see-through member adapted to correspond to the opening of the cooking chamber. The see-through member is projected forward so as to allow a user to observe the interior of the cooking chamber from a variety of viewing locations or angles. Furthermore, air feed holes and air discharge holes are formed near the door so as to prevent moisture of food from condensing on the see-through member.
