The present invention provides a method and apparatus for setting up a gateway for an AUTOSAR-based vehicle network. The apparatus for setting up the gateway includes a candidate selection unit for selecting an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) connected to at least two communication clusters, from among a plurality of ECUs, as a gateway candidate, and a gateway generation unit for generating a gateway instance with reference to the ECU selected by the candidate selection unit, and generating a gateway meta-model including the gateway instance based on instance generation input values entered by a user.

Method and apparatus for setting up gateway for AUTOSAR-based vehicle network

The present invention discloses a parameter setting apparatus and method for AUTOSAR-based software, which may lead a user to set parameters at suitable times depending on the variant attributes of parameters. In the parameter setting method, a selection of a variant attribute of a parameter of a metamodel defined to design AUTOSAR-based software is received from a user. If the variant attribute selected by the user corresponds to a variant-pre-compile attribute, setting of only a parameter having the variant-pre-compile attribute is allowed. If the variant attribute selected by the user corresponds to a variant-link attribute, setting of only a parameter having either one of the variant-pre-compile attribute and the variant-link attribute is allowed. If the variant attribute selected by the user corresponds to a variant-post-build attribute, setting of only a parameter having any one of the variant-pre-compile attribute, the variant-link attribute, and the variant-post-build attribute is allowed.

Parameter setting apparatus and method for automotive open system architecture-based software

The present invention relates to a automotive partial networking apparatus and method, which operate or terminate only a specific electronic control unit corresponding to a service currently being provided in a vehicle network composed of a plurality of electronic control units. In the automotive partial networking method, a automotive partial networking apparatus receives a partial networking-only Controller Area Network (CAN) frame from outside of the apparatus. A partial network table is searched based on the CAN frame, and then a CAN identification (ID) is searched for. A partial networking-only CAN frame is generated using the CAN ID. Partial networking is performed by transferring the generated partial networking-only CAN frame to at least one electronic control unit corresponding to a vehicle service.

Automotive partial networking apparatus and method

Provided is a method and apparatus for allocating a multicast connection identifier (MCID) for Internet protocol (IP) packet transmission over a portable Internet network and transmitting packets using the MCID. More specifically, there is provided a method of defining and allocating an MCID for transmitting an IP version 6 (IPv6) multicast packet over an IEEE 802.16/Wireless Broadband (WiBro) network and a process for transmitting an IP multicast packet of a base station (BS) using the MCID. The method of allocating is related to a method of automatically generating a connection identifier (CID) having 16 bits for packet transmission over the IEEE 802.16/WiBro network in order to transmit the IPv6 multicast packet. In this method, a scope value of the IPv6 multicast packet is added to the MCID. Therefore, multicast packets having an effective IPv6 scope such as a multicast packet in a link-local category, a multicast packet in a site-local category, and a multicast packet in a global category can be transmitted over the IEEE 802.16/WiBro network according to the scope of the multicast packet. Accordingly, when a new IPv6 scope is defined, the method can be naturally applied.

Method and apparatus for allocating multicast connection identifier used for IP multicast packet transmission over portable internet network and transmitting packet using the multicast connection identifier

Disclosed is a communication method using the mobile IPv6 in the NAT-PT environment, and a recording medium storing the method. An NAT-PT (Network Address Translation-Protocol Translation) box as a substitute for an IPv4 node in the communication method performs an RR (Return Routability) process and a BU (Binding Update) process with an IPv6 node to allow data communication between the IPv4 node and the IPv6 node. Therefore, mobility support using the mobile IPv6 is provided in the network with the mixed IPv4 and IPv6.
