An apparatus comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to perform at least the following: receive respective sleep profiles of a plurality of users, each sleep profile comprising recorded sleep phases of a sleep session of a respective user of the plurality of users, receive a target sleep outcome of the plurality of users; and based on the respective sleep profiles and the target sleep outcome, determine one or more respective sleep adjustments for provision to at least one of the respective plurality of users, the respective sleep adjustments comprising stimuli configured to attempt to adjust a respective user's sleep during one or more of the respective user's sleep session and a subsequent sleep session, in an attempt to achieve, at least in part, the target sleep outcome of the plurality of users.

Method and apparatus for creating a multi-device media presentation

A system for providing positioning information within a wireless communication signal. An apparatus may determine whether to provide information usable for positioning in a packet. If it is determined that positioning information will be provided in the packet, header information in the packet may be configured to indicate that the packet includes positioning information. The positioning information may then be included in the packet, which may then be transmitted. When the packet is an advertising packet, the packet may be transmitted on an advertising channel. A scanning apparatus may then receive the packet and may determine, based on the header information in the packet, whether the packet includes positioning information. If it is determined that the packet includes positioning information, positioning in the scanning apparatus may be configured based on the header information, and positioning may be performed in the scanning apparatus based on the positioning information in the packet.

The request for the content is received from a user equipment. Transmission of the content is initiated from the memory tag to the user equipment. The user equipment receives the content from the memory tag in response to the request.

An approach is provided for contention resolution of passive endpoints. A contention resolution platform causes, at least in part, scanning of a data channel of a passive endpoint at a first active endpoint to detect a powered state of the passive endpoint. The contention resolution platform then identifies a second active endpoint based, at least in part, on detection of the powered state. The contention resolution platform generates a request to the second active endpoint for the first active endpoint to enter an active mode with respect to the passive endpoint, causing, at least in part, transmission of the request to the second active endpoint. The contention resolution platform then joins the first active endpoint to one or more powered periods of the passive endpoint based, at least in part, on the response received.

An approach is presented for transferring data via radio frequency (RF) memory tags. The UE manager receives a request, at a device, to grant access for interaction between a first RF memory tag and a second RF memory tag, the first RF memory tag associated with one or more trusted storage. Further, the UE manager determines an accessibility state of the first RF memory tag, the one or more trusted storage, or a combination thereof. Then, the UE manager causes, at least in part, granting of the access based, at least in part, on the accessibility state. The access is via a connection between the first RF memory tag and the second RF memory tag.

Method and apparatus for transferring data via radio frequency (RF) memory tags

An approach is provided for managing access rights of users to information spaces using signatures stored in a memory tag. A signature manager caused reading of a memory tag to initiate a request, from a device, for an initial access to an information space. The request includes an authorization signature associated with the device. The signature manager determines a level of access to the information space by comparing the authorization signature against a lattice of signature primitives associated with the information space. The signature manager then modifies the authorization signature based on the determination and stores the modified authorization signature for validation of subsequent access to the information space by the device.

Method and apparatus for managing access rights to information spaces

A super-regenerative transceiver that has an antenna interface for an antenna is self-tuned with a self-tuning unit configured. The self-tuning unit makes the transceiver to repeatedly perform a self-tuning cycle until the amplitude meets a predetermined detection condition or a predetermined criterion is met. The self-tuning cycle involves the following: transmitting to the antenna a probe signal with one or more pulses; receiving from the antenna a ringing detection signal; determining if the ringing detection signal reflects tails of the probe signal with amplitude meeting a predetermined detection condition; and adjusting of the tuning of the super-regenerative transceiver if the amplitude does not meet the predetermined detection condition.

Radio unit reconfiguration

A system for establishing a wireless link from a wireless communication device (WCD) to at least one target device. The process of both identifying the target device and establishing a link to this device may incorporate the orientation and/or movement of the WCD into the procedure in lieu of the extensive use of traditional menu interfaces. A WCD may interpret a combination of orientation and/or movement as an approximate target device location that may be utilized to narrow the total population of all located devices into a subset containing those devices located within of near the approximate target device location. The subset of devices may be formulated and displayed as potential target devices for selection by a user. If any of the potential target devices are known by the WCD, a link may be established automatically.
