Disclosed herein is a vehicle that includes a first communication module configured to receive a search signal of a user terminal through a data channel having a first frequency band, a second communication module configured to send a sensing signal to at least one of inside or outside of the vehicle through a second frequency band, and to receive a reflected signal corresponding to the sensing signal, and a controller configured to wake up the second communication module when the first communication module receives the search signal, determine a position of the user terminal based on the sensing signal and the reflected signal, and control the second communication module to operate in an operation mode that is determined based on at least one of the position of the user terminal or startup of the vehicle.

The vehicle includes: a plurality of vehicle antennas configured to receive a plurality of signals, respectively, from a remote control device; and a vehicle controller configured to: i) calculate an arrival distance between each of the plurality of vehicle antennas and the remote control device based on an arrival time of the plurality of signals received by the plurality of vehicle antennas, ii) extract an initial arrival pulse signal having a first reference value or higher from among at least one pulse signal contained in each of the plurality of signals, iii) extract at least one valid signal having a maximum value corresponding to a second reference value or higher from among the plurality of signals received by the plurality of vehicle antennas, iv) calculate an arrival distance of an initial arrival pulse signal contained in the at least one valid signal, and v) estimate a position of the remote control device based on the arrival distance.

A vehicle includes a communicator for performing a radio frequency communication and another radio frequency communication with a smart key, and a controller for setting a plurality of vehicle controlled regions each having a preset range from a vehicle, estimating a position of a driver by using the radio frequency communication and the other radio frequency communication with the smart key, and setting a detection period of a Radio Frequency (RF) signal to be transmitted to the smart key based on a vehicle controlled region in which the driver is positioned, among the plurality of vehicle controlled regions.

A vehicle includes: a timer measuring a time; a receiver receiving data from a remote control device; a storage storing a unique value of a vehicle, a timer count value of the vehicle, and a timer difference value between the remote control device and the vehicle; and a controller increasing the timer count value of the vehicle after lapse of a predetermined time. In particular, the controller compares a unique value of the remote control device contained in the data with the unique value of the vehicle stored in the storage, and determines whether a user command contained in the data is approved based on a result of the comparison.

A vehicle includes: a Low Frequency (LF) communication unit transmitting an authentication request signal to a smart key through an LF communication network; a Radio Frequency (RF) communication unit receiving an authentication response signal from the smart key through an RF communication network; and a controller measuring an authentication response time period based on a time at which the authentication request signal is transmitted and a time at which the authentication response signal is received and determining whether authentication with the smart key is successful based on the authentication response time period.
