A display device includes a driving control circuit that receives an input image signal and outputs an output image signal, a data driving circuit that outputs a data signal corresponding to the output image signal, and a display panel including a plurality of pixels to display an image corresponding to the data signal. The driving control circuit determines an amount of time the input image signal is maintained as a still image, determines a color coordinate gain based on the amount of time and outputs the output image signal based on the color coordinate gain.

Display device and operation method thereof

A display device is disclosed that includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a printed circuit board connected to the display panel, a temperature sensor disposed on the printed circuit board, a flexible circuit board that connects the display panel to the printed circuit board, a data driver disposed on the flexible circuit board, and a temperature sensing part disposed on the printed circuit board. The flexible circuit board is bent such that the printed circuit board is disposed under the display panel and the temperature sensor is disposed adjacent to a sensing pixel outputting a sensing current among the pixels.

A display device may include a backlight unit, a display panel, and a backlight driver, and a panel driver. The backlight unit may include light source blocks including a first light source block. The display panel may include dimming regions including a first dimming region and respectively overlapping the light source blocks. The first dimming region may overlap the first light source block. The backlight driver may control a turn-on period and a turn-off period of each of the light source blocks. The panel driver may sequentially provide scan signals to the dimming regions for controlling light transmission of the dimming regions. A turn-off period of the first light source block may start before a scan period of the first dimming region and may end after the scan period of the first dimming region. The first dimming region may receive corresponding scan signals in the scan period.

A display device includes a backlight unit including light source rows, each of the light source rows including light source blocks, a display panel configured to display an image by transmitting light emitted by the backlight unit, a panel driver configured to drive the display panel, and a backlight driver configured to drive the backlight unit. The backlight driver is configured to perform a vertical direction scan operation that sequentially select the light source rows and a horizontal direction sequential driving operation that sequentially drives the light source blocks included in a selected light source row of the light source rows.

A high frequency generator having dual outputs comprises: a high frequency amplifying unit configured to amplify a DC voltage of a predetermined level, and output a first and a second high frequency amplification signal; a combiner configured to combine the first high frequency amplification signal and the second high frequency amplification signal, and output a high frequency power signal; a high frequency sensor disposed on output side of the combiner, configured to detect an electrical signal flowing the output side of the combiner, and output an electrical detection signal; a controller configured to output multiple control signals by using an externally applied control signal and the electrical detection signal; and a switching unit disposed between the combiner and the plasma chamber, and controlled by a switching control signal outputted from the controller to output the high frequency power signal to a first high frequency power output signal through a first output terminal and to output the high frequency power signal to a second high frequency power signal through a second output terminal.

High frequency generator having dual outputs and its driving method

A display device includes a display panel including gate lines, data lines, and pixels individually connected to a corresponding gate line and data line, a gate driver driving the gate lines, a data driver driving the data lines, and a driving controller. The driving controller receives, from an external source, first image signals and a variable frequency signal indicating an operation frequency (frame rate) for the display device. The driving controller converts the first image signals to second image signals by adding a compensation value corresponding to the operation frequency to the first image signals, and outputs the second image signals to the data driver. Embodiments may compensate for luminance reduction/variation and reduce image artifacts that otherwise occur due to variable frequency operation. An alternative embodiment dynamically controls an amount of light output from a backlight according to the variable frequency signal.

Display device capable of changing luminance depending on operating frequency

Provided is a high-frequency power generator with an enhanced pulse function, which supplies high-frequency power to a plasma load. The high-frequency power generator may include: a rectifier configured to receive AC power and rectify the received AC power; a DC-DC converter configured to adjust an output voltage by switching an output of the rectifier; an RF power amplifier configured to amplify an output of the DC-DC converter, and transfer high-frequency power with a pulse waveform to the plasma load; an RF power controller configured to control the output and pulse waveform of the RF power amplifier; and a DC-DC converter controller configured to receive a pulse signal from the RF power controller, and control a duty ratio of switching elements constituting the DC-DC converter.
