The present disclosure provides a light-emitting display including a display panel, a first circuit, a second circuit, and a compensation circuit. The display panel includes a pixel having an organic light-emitting diode. The first circuit supplies a data voltage to the pixel. The second circuit performs a first sensing operation for sensing a voltage stored at an anode of the organic light-emitting diode and a second sensing operation for sensing a parasitic capacitance of the organic light-emitting diode. The compensation circuit compensates for degradation of the organic light-emitting diode based on a sensed value outputted from the second circuit.

Light-emitting display for compensating degradation of organic light-emitting diode and method of driving the same

Embodiments are directed to a display device having a display panel, a driving circuit, a sensing circuit, and a compensation circuit. The driving circuit provides a preset sensing voltage to a pixel of the display panel. The sensing circuit senses a pixel current generated by the pixel. The sensing circuit includes a sensing circuit that generates an integrated voltage signal indicative of the pixel current, and an offset circuit for adding an offset to the integrated voltage signal. The offset is based on a previously stored compensation amount for the pixel. The compensation circuit determines a new compensation amount for the pixel based on the offset integrated voltage. Additionally, the compensation circuit compensates a display voltage of the pixel by the new compensation amount in a subsequent display frame of the display device.

Pixel sensing device, organic light emitting display device including the same and method thereof

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display device capable of improving light extraction efficiency and lifetime is disclosed. In the OLED display device, a protective layer having a convex shaped protruding pattern is arranged in a light emitting area at a central portion of a substrate, so that only the light emitting area has a selectively convex protruding shape. Accordingly, in the OLED display device, in a process of forming an organic light emitting layer, the protruding pattern can artificially offset the organic light emitting layer arranged at the central portion of the substrate being sagged, by a protective layer having a convex shaped protruding pattern. As a result, the OLED display device can improve a problem of thickness non-uniformity of the central portion and an edge portion of the substrate due to a sagging phenomenon of the organic light emitting layer.

Organic light emitting diode display device

An LCD device includes a plurality of first vertical gate lines and a plurality of data lines vertically disposed in a liquid crystal panel, a plurality of second horizontal gate lines horizontally disposed in the liquid crystal panel, and a plurality of driving ICs disposed in an upper or lower non-display area of the liquid crystal panel. The plurality of horizontal gate lines and the plurality of vertical gate lines may be disposed on different layers. Disclosed is a display device. The display device includes an upper substrate; a lower substrate having gate and data lines, with exposing a part of the lower surface of the upper substrate; a sealant for adhering the upper substrate to the lower substrate; a panel driver connected to the part of a lower surface of the upper substrate; a pad formed on the lower substrate, for applying a signal to the gate and data lines; and a connection part formed on the upper substrate, for connecting the pad and the panel driver. Accordingly, the thickness of the display device decreases, and a step height is not formed at a front surface of the display device, whereby the present invention can obtain an aesthetic design effect in that the front surface of the display device is shown as one structure.

Disclosed is a display device. The display device includes first and second substrates, a plurality of gate lines and data lines, a connection line, a signal line, and a first bridge. The first and second substrates face each other. The gate lines and data lines are formed on the first substrate to define a plurality of pixels by an intersection therebetween. The connection line is formed on the first substrate to be electrically connected to the gate line. The signal line is formed on the second substrate for supplying a signal to the gate line. The first bridge is formed on the second substrate for electrically connecting the signal line and the connection line.
