A vision sensor includes a pixel array comprising pixels arranged in a matrix, an event detection circuit, an event rate controller, and an interface circuit. Each pixel is configured to generate an electrical signal in response to detecting a change in incident light intensity. The event detection circuit detects whether a change in incident light intensity has occurred at any pixels, based on processing electrical signals received from one or more pixels, and generates one or more event signals corresponding to one or more pixels at which a change in intensity of incident light is determined to have occurred. The event rate controller selects a selection of one or more event signals corresponding to a region of interest on the pixel array as one or more output event signals. The interface circuit communicates with an external processor to transmit the one or more output event signals to the external processor.

A vision sensor includes a pixel array including a plurality of pixels, a voltage generator configured to generate a reset bias voltage provided to each of the plurality of pixels, a temperature comparing circuit configured to output a switching setting value according to a result of comparing temperature information with at least one reference temperature value, and a voltage level controller configured to generate a reset bias setting signal based on the switching setting value. The reset bias setting signal adjusts a voltage level of the reset bias voltage.

The present disclosure relates to a dynamic vision sensor. The dynamic vision sensor comprises a pixel array, address event representations, and a control logic. The pixel array includes a plurality of dynamic vision sensor (DVS) pixels connected to a plurality of row lines and a plurality of column lines. Each of the DVS pixels is configured to output an event signal in response to a change in light. The address event representations are configured to select one of the plurality of column lines and obtain an event signal output from DVS pixels connected to the selected column line. The control logic is configured to generate image data, including an object capable of generating a movement using an event signal output from each of the plurality of DVS pixels. The control logic divides the plurality of DVS pixels into a plurality of groups and allocates different readout times to each of the plurality of groups.

Dynamic vision sensor system

A method of correcting dynamic vision sensor (DVS) events is described. The method generates event data including events representing motion information of an object included in an image. Additionally, the method generates image data capturing an image and generates edge data representing edge information of the image based on the image data. The method also generates omitted events of the event data based on the edge data. Accuracy of the event data and performance of machine vision devices and systems operating based on the event data are enhanced by supplementing the omitted events of the event data provided from the DVS, using the edge information.
