A wireless device receives one or more configuration parameters indicating a plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for uplink transmissions. The wireless device transmits, for a random access procedure, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission with a spatial filter. The wireless device receives a medium access control control element (MAC CE) indicating activation of more than one TCI state of the plurality of TCI states. The wireless device transmits, with the spatial filter used during the random access procedure, one or more uplink signals before receiving a downlink control information (DCI) indicating a TCI state from the more than one TCI state.

Determination of spatial filter for transmissions

A wireless device may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling an uplink transmission. The wireless device may receive, via at least one PDCCH monitoring occasion of PDCCH monitoring occasions, a repetition of second DCI that indicates cancelation of one or more symbols of the uplink transmission. The wireless device may cancel the one or more symbols of the uplink transmission based on a last symbol of the PDCCH reception with the first DCI being earlier than a starting symbol of the PDCCH monitoring occasions.

Interrupted transmission in control channel repetition

Control channel repetition may be used in wireless communications. A base station may send repeated downlink control information (DCI) or physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) to a wireless device. The base station may send configuration parameters to the wireless device to indicate a plurality of coresets and indicate whether a particular DCI field, such as a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) field, will be present in the repeated DCI. Wireless resources may be determined by the wireless device based on a candidate of the last configured repetition.

Control channel repetition using multiple coresets

A base station may transmit, to a wireless device, configuration parameters for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS), indicating periodic downlink resources for SPS physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. The base station may transmit, to the wireless device, a downlink control information (DCI). The DCI may indicate: an activation of the periodic downlink resources, a PUCCH resource for receiving feedback information corresponding to a plurality of SPS PDSCH transmissions via the periodic downlink resources, and a total downlink assignment index (DAI) incremented based on a number of the plurality of SPS PDSCH transmissions corresponding to the PUCCH resource. The base station may receive, from the wireless device via the PUCCH resource, feedback information bits for the plurality of SPS PDSCH transmissions based on the total DAI.

Semi-persistent scheduling in high frequency

A base station may transmit, to a wireless device, one or more messages indicating transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for downlink transmissions. The base station may transmit, to the wireless device, a medium access control control element (MAC CE) activating a plurality of TCI states of the TCI states. The base station may transmit, to the wireless device based on a reference signal identified during a random access procedure and before receiving downlink control information (DCI) indicating a TCI state from the plurality of TCI states, one or more downlink signals.

Default beam for downlink signal transmissions

A wireless device receives configuration parameters of a first control resource set (coreset) associated with at least one common search space (CSS) set and a second coreset associated with at least one user equipment (UE)-specific search space (USS) set. The wireless device receives a first control command indicating first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for the first coreset and a second control command indicating a second TCI state for downlink channels or both uplink and downlink channels. In response to the first coreset being associated with at least one CSS set, the wireless device receives first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) receptions via the first coreset based on the first TCI state. In response to the second coreset being associated with at least one USS set, the wireless device receives second PDCCH receptions via the second coreset based on the second TCI state.

Beam update for search space set specific control resource sets

A wireless device receives parameters indicating: a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time (RTT) timer of a multicast and broadcast service (MBS), and a feedback indicator indicating whether HARQ feedback is enabled. The wireless device receives a group common DCI scheduling a transport block (TB) of the MBS. In response to the feedback indicator indicating that HARQ feedback is enabled, the wireless device transmits a HARQ feedback with a negative value based on the TB being unsuccessfully decoded, starts the HARQ RTT timer after transmitting the HARQ feedback, and monitors, in response to the HARQ RTT timer expiring, a downlink control channel for a retransmission of the TB.

Discontinuous reception operation of multicast and broadcast services

A wireless device receives configuration parameters, of a cell. The parameters indicates a first reference signal (RS) of a first transmission reception point (TRP) of the cell, a second RS of a second TRP of the cell, random access channel (RACH) resources of a RACH of the cell, and a power offset value for the first TRP. The wireless device adjusts a first received power value of the first RS by the power offset value. The wireless device transmits a preamble, via the RACH resources, to the first TRP in response to selecting the first RS for an RS. The wireless device transmits a preamble, via the RACH resources, to the second TRP in response to selecting the second RS for the RS.

Access power management with multiple transmission reception points

A wireless device monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first search space group (SSG), of a bandwidth part (BWP), having one or more search spaces on the BWP. A downlink control information (DCI), received at a first slot, indicates to switch PDCCH monitoring from the first SSG to a second SSG, of the BWP, having no search spaces. The wireless device stops monitoring the PDCCH at a second slot that starts, after the last symbol of the first slot, in response to the switching PDDCH monitoring to the second SSG.

Application delay of downlink control channel skipping

A wireless device receives, from a base station, configuration parameters indicating a plurality of first reference signals (RSs) including a first RS associated with a plurality of second RSs. Based on signal strengths of the plurality of first RSs, the first RS is selected from the plurality of first RSs. Based on signal strengths of the plurality of second RSs, a second RS is selected from the plurality of second RSs associated with the first RS. Based on the selected second RS, the wireless device transmits a random access preamble.

Beam management for random access procedures

A wireless device receives parameters, including a first discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration associated with unicast transmissions in a cell and a second DRX configuration associated with multicast and broadcast services (MBS) in the cell. The wireless device may also receive a power saving (PS) indication indicating not to start a DRX on duration timer. The PS indication may be applied for the first DRX configuration; and it may not be applied for the second DRX configuration. The wireless device may further skip monitoring, in a first DRX on duration of the first DRX configuration, first physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) for the unicast transmissions based on receiving the PS indication. The wireless device may also monitor, in a second DRX on duration of the second DRX configuration and while skipping monitoring the first PDCCHs in the first DRX on duration, second PDCCHs for the MBS.

Power saving operation for multicast and broadcast services

A method includes monitoring, based on a first reference signal (RS), a downlink control channel in a control resource set (coreset). The method further includes receiving a control command indicating that a group of one or more second RSs is transmitted by a base station in a direction in which listen-before-talk (LBT) was performed. in response to the group of the one or more second RSs does not comprise the first RS, the method includes stopping monitoring the downlink control channel in the coreset.

Beam-based downlink monitoring

A wireless device receives configuration parameters, of a multicast and broadcast service (MBS) session, that indicates a channel state information (CSI) report configuration and a group common identifier. Based on the group common identifier, a downlink control information (DCI) is received that includes a resource indication of a group common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for a multicast transmission of a transport block (TB), and a parameter indicating whether a CSI report is enabled for the MBS session. The TB is received via the group common PDSCH. In response to the parameter indicating that the CSI report is enabled, the CSI report is transmitted based on the CSI report configuration.

Channel state information report for multicast and broadcast services

A method for beam determination may include receiving, by a wireless device from a base station, configuration parameters indicating transmission configuration indication (TCI) state pools, wherein each TCI state pool, of the TCI state pools, comprises TCI states. The method may also include transmitting an indication of a TCI state pool from the TCI state pools.

Beam determination procedures with uplink assistant information

A wireless device increments a beam failure instance counter based on a first beam failure instance indication for one or more first reference signals (RSs) for beam failure detection. The wireless device receives a medium access control control element (MAC CE) indicating one or more second RSs for beam failure detection. The wireless device resets the beam failure instance counter in response to receiving the MAC CE. The wireless device increments the beam failure instance counter based on a second beam failure instance indication for the one or more second RSs. The wireless device based on the beam failure instance counter being equal to or greater than a first value, triggers a beam failure recovery for the one or more second RSs.
