A battery module includes: a battery cell stacked member in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a bus bar frame respectively connected to the front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stacked member; and a frame member accommodating the battery cell stacked member to which the bus bar frame is mounted, wherein one side of the bottom part of the frame member includes at least two step regions, at least two step regions are spaced apart in the same direction as the direction in which the battery cells are stacked, and the bus bar frame includes a support positioned to correspond to the step region.

Battery module and battery pack including the same

A battery module includes a battery cell stack, a module frame, and a bus bar frame. The battery cell stack is configured to include a plurality of battery cells including electrode leads that are stacked in in the battery cells. The module frame is configured to accommodate the battery cell stack. The bus bar frame is positioned in a protrusion direction of the electrode leads protruding from the battery cells. A protrusion is formed in either the bus bar frame or the module frame. An insertion hole into which the protrusion is inserted is formed in the other of the bus bar frame and the module frame than the one of the bus bar frame and the module frame in which the protrusion is formed.

A battery module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a battery cell stacked body in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a U-shaped frame receiving the battery cell stacked body and having an opened upper part; an upper plate covering the battery cell stacked body on the opened upper part of the U-shaped frame; a bus bar frame respectively formed at both ends of the battery cell stacked body; a signal connection portion disposed between the upper plate and the battery cell stacked body and connecting the bus bar frames respectively formed at both ends of the battery cell stacked body; and a bridge adjacent to the signal connection portion and hinged to the bus bar frame, wherein a temperature sensor is attached to the bridge.

A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a module frame accommodating the battery cell stack; an end plate positioned on a front surface and a rear surface of the battery cell stack; and a heat sink positioned under a bottom portion of the module frame. The bottom portion constitutes the upper plate of the heat sink. The module frame includes a first module frame protruded part and a second module frame protruded part formed by protruding a part of the bottom portion, and the first module frame protruded part and the second module frame protruded part are positioned to be spaced apart from each other. A welding part where the end plate and the module frame are welded is positioned between the first module frame protruded part and the second module frame protruded part.

A battery module includes: a battery cell assembly including one or more battery cells, a rectangular tube-shaped module frame configured so as to house the battery cell assembly and cover four surfaces of the battery cell assembly; and a plurality of first vent holes formed at a corner part where two of the four surfaces meet.

A battery module according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a cell block including a battery cell assembly containing one or more battery cells and a pair of terminal busbars connected to the battery cell assembly to electrically connect the battery cell to an external device, and a module frame for housing the cell block. Two or more of the cell blocks may be contained in the module frame. The two or more cell blocks may not be electrically connected to each other within the module frame.

Battery module

A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, and a busbar frame located on a front surface or a rear surfaces of the battery cell stack, the busbar frame includes a support part surrounding at least a portion of a bottom surface of the battery cell stack, and the support part includes an extension region extending from the busbar frame in a lengthwise direction of a battery cell of the plurality of battery cells, and a protrusion region on the extension region.

A battery module includes: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a first L-shaped frame accommodating the battery cell stack; and defining an open upper part and one open side surface, and a second L-shaped frame accommodating the battery cell stack, defining an open lower part and an one open side surface, wherein the first L-shaped frame and the second L-shaped frame are engaged with each other to surround four surfaces of the battery cell stack, a lower surface of the first L-shaped frame includes a first part and a second part, the first part is located at a first end with respect to a length direction of the battery cell, the second part is located between the first part and a second end opposite the first end, and a thickness of the first part is smaller than the thickness of the second part.

Battery module, method for manufacturing the same, and battery pack

The battery module includes a module frame into which a battery cell stack, in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, is inserted, and an end plate that covers front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stack and is coupled to the module frame, wherein a terminal busbar opening and a connector opening are formed on the end plate, and a venting part is formed at a lower end of the end plate spaced apart from the terminal busbar opening and the connector opening.

A battery module, and a battery pack including the same, includes a battery cell stack, in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module frame surrounding the battery cell stack, a busbar frame covering a part of the battery cell stack that is exposed from the module frame, a busbar connected to an electrode lead protruding from the battery cell stack through a slot formed in the busbar frame, and a heat transfer member connected to the busbar. The heat transfer members make contact with the module frame.

A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module frame for housing the battery cell stack, end plates for covering front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stack, and a cooling port configured to supply a refrigerant to a heat sink formed on a bottom part of the module frame, the module frame comprises a module frame protrusion part, which is extended and formed so as to pass through the end plates on the bottom part of the module frame, the cooling port is formed at an upper surface part of the module frame protrusion part, and the end plate comprises an end plate opening formed at a portion thereof corresponding to the cooling port and an insulator formed so as to cover the end plate opening.

Battery module and manufacturing method thereof

A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; and a module frame for housing the battery cell stack. The module frame includes a first module frame having an opened upper part and a second module frame having an opened lower part. The first module frame includes a first side surface part, a second side surface part, and a bottom part for connecting the first side surface part and the second side surface part, wherein the second module frame includes a third side surface part, a fourth side surface part, and a ceiling part for connecting the third side surface part and the fourth side surface part. The first module frame and the second module frame surround the battery cell stack in a state where the first side surface part and the third side surface part are overlapped, and the second side surface part and the fourth side surface part are overlapped.

Discussed is a battery pack that prevents a heat transfer phenomenon, and a device including the same. The battery pack includes: a battery module frame accommodating a battery cell stack, a battery pack frame, on which the battery module frame is mounted, and a battery module mounting part formed in the battery pack frame to mount the battery module frame to to the battery pack frame, wherein a heat insulation member is formed between the battery module mounting part and the battery module frame.

Battery pack and device including the same

An embodiment of the invention provides a battery module assembly, including: a first battery module including a first module case housing a plurality of battery cells, and a first input/output terminal and a second input/output terminal that are provided at one side of the first module case; and a second battery module including a second module case housing a plurality of battery cells, and a first input/output terminal and a second input/output terminal that are provided at one side of the second module case. The first input/output terminal of the first battery module may be formed by extending a first module bus bar connected to at least one of the plurality of battery cells inside the module case, and may extend to the second input/output terminal of the second battery module to be connected to the second input/output terminal.

Battery module and battery module assembly

A battery pack which includes a plurality of battery modules, each battery module including a plurality of battery cells. Electrode leads extend from the plurality of battery cells; a connection member connects with at least one of the electrode leads; a bus bar electrically connects neighboring battery modules, and one end thereof contacts the connection member. An insulation member covers a contact portion of the connection member and the bus bar; and a flame spread blocking member overlaps the contact portion of the connection member and the bus bar, while being disposed on the insulation member.
