The disclosure relates to a method of detecting whether an external object is in proximity to an electronic device and an electronic device supporting the same. An electronic device according to an embodiment may include: a wireless communication circuit; an antenna electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit and configured to be fed with power from the wireless communication circuit at a first point; a voltage detector including circuitry configured to detect a peak voltage applied to the antenna; and a processor electrically connected to the voltage detector and the wireless communication circuit. The processor may be configured to: determine whether an external object is within a specified proximity to the electronic device based on the peak voltage detected by the voltage detector; and control the magnitude of power applied to the antenna via the wireless communication circuit based on a determination that the external object is within the specified proximity to the electronic device.

An electronic device according to an embodiment includes: an antenna, a filter configured to pass a signal of a specific frequency band among signals transmitted and received through the antenna, and a processor configured to control the filter to pass the signal of the specific frequency band. The filter includes: a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a first group of electrodes disposed inside the first substrate, a second group of electrodes disposed inside the second substrate, a first transducer electrode including a first group of lines, a second transducer electrode including a second group of lines disposed to alternate with the first group of lines, and a power supply configured to apply voltages to the first group of electrodes and the second group of electrodes. The processor is configured to cause at least one of the second group of lines to be separated from the first substrate, by controlling the power supply based on a frequency of a signal to be passed through the filter.

An operation method of an electronic device includes determining whether a first communication module based on a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second communication module based on a second RAT operate in a connected state; determining whether a combination of a first band used by the first communication module and a second band used by the second communication module is a combination causing interference; and if the combination of the first band and the second band is a combination causing interference, transmitting a signal requesting to change one of the first band or the second band. The interference is caused by at least one transmission signal of the first RAT or at least one other signal derived from the at least one transmission signal.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an antenna, a transmission path electrically connected to the antenna and including at least one amplifier, a transceiver connected to the transmission path and converting a signal, a feedback path connected between the transmission path and the transceiver, at least one processor connected to the transceiver and communicating with at least one external electronic device by using the transceiver, and a memory connected to the at least one processor. The processor may obtain first information about a first phase and a first magnitude, which are associated with the first frequency, and second information about a second phase and a second magnitude, which are associated with a multiplied frequency of the first frequency, from the transmission signal and the reflection signal using the transceiver, and may determine a state of the electronic device based on the first information and the second information.

An electronic device is disclosed and may comprise: an amplifier for amplifying a signal; a filter circuit for filtering the amplified signal; a coupler for delivering a feedback signal with respect to the filtered signal; an antenna for radiating the filtered signal to the outside; and a communication circuit for generating the signal, wherein communication circuit: generates a signal, using designated information; delivers the generated signal to the amplifier; acquires, from the coupler, a first feedback signal and a second feedback signal with respect to signals amplified by the amplifier; and determines whether there is an error in a signal transmitted to an external apparatus, on the basis of the designated information, magnitude information of the first feedback signal, and frequency information of the second feedback signal.
