A transceiver configured to transmit data in a plurality of operating modes including a Wi-Fi mode and two or more different Bluetooth power modes, the transceiver comprising: a first power amplifier configured to amplify Bluetooth signals; a second power amplifier configured to amplify Wi-Fi signals; an antenna coupled to the second power amplifier; and a tunable load circuit, coupled between the first amplifier and the second amplifier, configured to provide a different load impedance for each of the plurality of operating modes, the tunable load circuit consisting of: two impedance paths coupled in parallel between output terminals of the first and second amplifiers; and a number of shunt paths coupled between the tunable load circuit and ground potential.

Switchable supply and tunable load impedance power amplifier

An integrated circuit for transmit and receive matching is described. The integrated circuit includes a transmit amplifier. The transmit amplifier includes a first transistor, a second transistor and a first inductor. The first inductor couples the first transistor to the second transistor. The integrated circuit also includes a low noise amplifier. The low noise amplifier includes a third transistor, a fourth transistor, the first inductor, a second inductor, a third inductor and a transformer. The second inductor couples the first inductor to the third transistor. The third inductor couples the third transistor to ground.

Area efficient concurrent matching transceiver

A current mode power amplifier includes a current steering stage configured to steer a scaled current based on differential voltage inputs, a filtered current mirror connected to the current steering stage to receive the scaled current and produce a filtered output current, and a resonant load configured to receive the output current and generate an output voltage signal for transmission.
