A secondary battery including: a battery unit including a battery cell and a lead tab that protrudes from the battery cell; a frame case for supporting the battery unit and including a first support portion for supporting the battery cell and a second support portion for supporting the lead tab; and a connection member for perforating a connection hole formed in the lead tab and extending in a direction of the second support unit, wherein the connection hole of the lead tab includes: a first connection hole that is spaced apart from a first edge of the lead tab by a first width; and a second connection hole that is spaced apart from a second edge of the lead tab by a second width. The secondary battery may reduce electrical resistance of a charge/discharge path and has improved efficiency.

Secondary battery

A case for a battery cell includes a heat radiation unit, a terminal unit, and an insulating frame interlocked with the heat radiation unit and the terminal unit to form the case. The heat radiation unit and the terminal unit are integrated by the insulating frame so that it is possible to prevent the heat radiation unit or the terminal unit from being separated from the case.

A polymer battery pack assembly comprising a mounting frame having a first cavity defining a first mounting location and a second cavity defining a second mounting location, the first and second cavities being separated from each other; a top case mounted on the second mounting location, the top case having a third cavity defining a third mounting location; a lithium polymer battery cell mounted within the first mounting location, the battery cell having a positive tap and a negative tap extending beyond the first cavity towards the second mounting location; and a protection circuit module mounted in the third mounting location, the protection circuit module being electrically connected to the positive tap and the negative tap when the top case is mounted to the mounting frame such that the protection circuit module fits into said second cavity.

The terminal portion includes a first groove portion for attaching a temperature sensor for obtaining temperature information of the battery cell.

A high voltage connecting terminal for a power supply with improved insulating properties is disclosed. The high voltage connecting terminal may include a power connecting portion having a base plate mounted at one side of a conducting case in which a first opening and a first fastening hole are formed and a power connecting terminal formed to protrude at one side of the base plate, an insulating member interposed between the conducting case and the power connecting portion and having a third opening and a third fastening hole formed therein, and an insulating gasket mounted at the other side of the conducting case and having a fourth opening and a fourth fastening hole formed therein, the insulating gasket including a protruding portion formed along an outer circumference of the fourth opening so as to pass through the first opening.

High voltage connecting terminal for power supply

A secondary battery having a protecting circuit module (PCM) and a secondary protection device. The battery includes a metal tab of the PCM and a metal tab of the secondary protection device that are connected to each other on the top of the PCM. One or more of the tabs are bent to bring the tabs in closer proximity to facilitate welding therebetween.

A battery pack includes a bare cell having a pair of first side portions, a pair of second side portions, and a pair of plane portions, each of which are opposite to each other. The second side portions and the plane portions are connected to ends of the first side portions. A protection circuit module is electrically connected to the bare cell. An inner frame exposes one side portion of the pair of first side portions and accommodates the bare cell. An outer frame exposes the pair of plane portions and accommodates the bare cell, the protection circuit module and the inner frame. In the battery pack, outer ribs extending away from the bare cell are further formed at the inner frame that comes in contact with the pair of second side portions of the bare cell so that the outer frame is surrounded by the outer ribs.
