Provided are a subminiature drone including a rotary artificial muscle motor and a method of operating the same. The subminiature drone includes the rotary artificial muscle motor repeatedly twisted and untwisted according to whether a voltage is applied to generate a rotational force so that a coaxial inverted rotor structure including a subminiature propeller can be easily driven, and a subminiature drone can be provided.

A shear deformation apparatus comprises: a die having an inlet and an outlet; and a rotatable device installed at a shear zone for supporting a material introduced into the inlet of the die and thus changing a direction of the material to the outlet of the die, of which the surface moves together with the material. According to the apparatus, a frictional resistance between the material and the die is reduced and a generation of a dead zone is prevented, thereby reducing a deformation resistance and having a uniform shear deformation.

Apparatus and method for uniform shear deformation

A thermo mechanical treatment method for providing super-plasticity to Al--Li alloy being a kind of light and high strength alloys. The thermo mechanical treatment method according the invention comprises steps of, homogenizing Al--Li alloy consisting of Al--Cu--Li--Mg--Zr at a temperature of 500.degree.-500.degree. C. for 10-30 hours, and controlled rolling the alloy at a temperature of 300.degree.-500.degree. C., a rolling speed of 2-20 m/min and a draft percentage per pass of 2-18%. The thermo mechanical treatment of the invention has a wide industrially applicable range and thus an excellent operation efficiency. The thermo mechanical treatment exhibits excellent super-plasticity at a higher strain speed as compared with known treatments.
