Vehicle solar system and method of controlling the same

The present disclosure relates to a system for controlling an air flow rate into a vehicle engine room. The system includes: an air intake port receiving an exterior air at a front portion of the vehicle and supplying the air into the engine room; air ducts formed at both sides of the air intake port and introduce the exterior air into a wheel side in order to improve aerodynamic characteristic; a control valve configured to selectively convey the air flowed in the air intake port into the air ducts; a radiator disposed between the air intake port and the engine room; and a control portion configured to control the control valve based on an operating state of vehicle. The air ducts are selectively communicated with the air intake port and disposed at upstream of the radiator.

A variable intake system for a vehicle to regulate an amount of intake air according to driving conditions of an engine may include an air cleaner connected to an intake duct which draws in intake air and forms a flow path for the intake air inside the air cleaner, a battery assembly installed in the flow path inside the air cleaner, which includes a plurality of cooling paths that allow the intake air to flow through the plurality of cooling paths, and a valve body installed in the air cleaner and selectively varying the flow path of the intake air.

An engine encapsulation structure of a vehicle may include an engine room encapsulation member disposed at an upper portion of an engine compartment and covering an upper portion of a power train having an engine and a transmission, an underbody encapsulation member disposed at a lower portion of the engine compartment and covering a lower portion of the power train, wherein the engine room encapsulation member and the underbody encapsulation member form an inner space and enclose the power train in the inner space when being assembled each other, and a front inlet formed at a front portion of the assembly to allow air through the front inlet and to cool the power train while the air passes through the inner space of the assembly, the air being discharged through a rear outlet formed to the assembly.
