Provided is a voltage controlled oscillator having a new type of a resonator and a negative resistance part capable of finely tuning negative resistance. Thus, the voltage controlled oscillator has an excellent quality factor characteristic and can finely tune the negative resistance even after its fabrication is completed. The voltage controlled oscillator having an active element includes: a resonating unit for generating an oscillation frequency according to a resonance capacitance; a frequency tuning unit, connected to a source terminal of the active element, for tuning the oscillation frequency; and a negative resistance adjusting unit, connected to the frequency tuning unit, for generating a negative resistance to adjust the oscillation frequency, the negative resistance adjusting unit including a varactor diode for finely adjusting the negative resistance.

An apparatus for transmitting/receiving destination wake-up information through communication satellite network is disclosed. The apparatus includes: an input/output unit for receiving ticketing data from an external device, transmitting the ticketing data to a storing unit and outputting the ticketing data to a baseband processing unit by reading from the storing unit according to transmission conditions; a storing unit for storing the ticketing data based on a control of the controlling unit; a baseband processing unit for converting the ticketing data into a baseband signal; and a wireless transceiving unit for converting the baseband signal into a wireless signal and emitting the wireless signal through a satellite antenna.

Apparatus for transmitting/receiving destination wake-up information through communication satellite network

Provided are an apparatus for controlling a switch of a satellite transponder for multibeam communication, and a method thereof. The apparatus and method can increase output efficiency of communicated satellite electric wave signals and reuse frequencies in one-to-one earth station communication or a one-to-multi earth station communication. The apparatus includes: an earth control station interfacing block for receiving and processing commands from an earth control station, collecting operation states of the switch controlling apparatus and reporting them to the earth control station; a reference frequency generating block for generating a reference clock needed to operate the switch controlling apparatus and generating a reference frequency based on the reference clock; and a switch controlling block for reading contents of a memory storing a switching sequence periodically, detecting and correcting errors of the contents to generate a switch control signal, and transmitting the signal to a radio frequency switch.

Apparatus and method for controlling switch of satellite transponder for multibeam communication

An apparatus and method for detecting a defect on a ground layer of microstrip by using scattering parameters is disclosed. The apparatus includes: a providing unit for providing a signal to the microstrip by changing a frequency of the signal in a predetermined range of frequencies; a detecting unit for detecting scattering parameters of an output signal from the microstrip in response to the frequency of the signal; and an analyzing unit for analyzing the interface based on the scattering parameters.

Apparatus and method for inspecting interface between ground layer and substrate of microstrip by using scattering parameters

Provided is a solar position tracing sensor having a high resolving power by using a temperature coefficient and heat conductivity of fine patterns on a printed circuit board (PCB). The solar position tracing sensor is reliable and has a wide application ranges for both celestial and terrestrial applications. It can be produced in mass at cheep cost. The solar position tracing sensor includes: a light condenser for condensing and filtering sunlight; a PCB having light reception patterns on the top and bottom surfaces; a heat protection plate for preventing the temperature of the entire PCB from being increased; a reference voltage supplier for providing a reference voltage source to find out a specific light reception pattern whose temperature is increased from radiation of the sunlight; and a voltmeter for measuring alteration in voltage based on the alteration in a temperature coefficient of the light reception pattern with increased temperature.

Solar position tracing sensor using thin film pattern of both-sided printed circuit board

Provided is an antenna aligning apparatus for near-field measurement, which can perform alignment between a measurement target antenna and a probe antenna precisely by using an antenna pattern and detecting coordinates of the least error. The apparatus for measuring a level of electric magnetic interference (EMI) with an electronic device to radiate an electromagnetic wave, the apparatus including: a test device for outputting a signal in response to the electromagnetic wave radiated from the electric device; a calculating unit for calculating a group_delay variation information of the test device by using the signal from the test device; a processor for storing a reference group_delay variation; and an analyzer for analyzing the level of EMI by comparing the reference group_delay variation information and the group_delay variation information.

Apparatus and method for measuring EMI level of electronic device

A system for executing diagnosis of vehicle performance using satellite telemetry technology includes a diagnostic unit for compiling telemetry data, transmitted in real-time, of an engine and various parts of a vehicle, comparing the telemetry data with specific values of the engine and various parts to determine if there are any abnormalities in vehicle performance, and monitoring diagnostic results of vehicle performance; and a communications unit for performing communications in real-time through a network with an external user requesting vehicle performance diagnostic results of the diagnostic unit. Accordingly, the driver or external user may easily determine if there are abnormalities in vehicle performance, take steps to cope with vehicle malfunctions before they occur, and know the precise location of any abnormal areas of vehicle performance.
