Methods and apparatuses for efficiently coding and decoding multi-view video are provided. A method of decoding multi-view video includes: interpreting from a received bitstream a block type indicating a method of determining a motion vector of a current block present in a current picture of the multi-view video; interpreting a first picture type indicating whether the current picture is a reference picture type for inter prediction; interpreting additional information of the current picture based on at least one of the interpreted first picture type and the interpreted block type; and reconstructing the current block and the current picture by using the additional information.

Method and apparatus for multi-view video encoding and method and apparatus for multiview video decoding

Methods and apparatuses for efficiently coding and decoding multi-view video are provided. A method of decoding multi-view video includes: interpreting a first picture type indicating whether a current picture of the multi-view video is a reference video type for inter prediction; interpreting a block type indicating a method of determining a motion vector of a current block of the current picture; interpreting a chrominance compensation value of the current block based on at least one of the interpreted first picture type and the interpreted block type; and performing chrominance compensation on the current block by using the interpreted chrominance compensation value.

A device and a method for combining outputs of a plurality of linear power amplifiers while preventing loss of signals. The combined linear power amplifying device, including: a power divider module which has paths connected respectively between one input terminal and a plurality of output terminals and switches connected respectively to each of the output terminals, for dividing power of a RF signal input to the power divider module and respectively outputting the divided power to the output terminals; a power combiner module which has paths connected respectively between a plurality of input terminals and one output terminal and the switches connected respectively to each of the input terminals, for combining power of a RF signal input to the power combiner module and outputting the combined power; and linear power amplifiers which are connected between the output terminals of the power divider module and the input terminals of the power combiner module, for linearly amplifying the RF signal power-divided in the power divider module thereby outputting the linearly amplified signal to the power combiner module, and upon generation of a failed state of the linear power amplifiers, the failed amplifier opening the path of the affected RF signal by turning off the corresponding switches in said power divider module and said power combiner module.

Combined linear power amplifying device and method

A linear power amplifier and method for removing the intermodulation distortion with a predistortion system and a feed forward system. The linear power amplifier having a main power amplifier includes: a predistortion system for firstly suppressing the intermodulation signal generated upon amplification of an RF signal in the main power amplifier, by generating a harmonics corresponding to the input RF signal and a predistortion signal with coupling the RF signal to the harmonics; and a feed forward system for secondly suppressing the intermodulation signal by canceling the input RF signal and the output of the main power amplifier, extracting an intermodulation signal distortion, error-amplifying the extracted intermodulation signal distortion, and coupling the amplified intermodulation signal with the output of the main power amplifier.
