A multi-image display device according to example embodiments includes a first display panel configured to output a first image and a second display panel located on a second extension line inclined at a first angle with respect to a first extension line and configured to output a second image. The first extension line is an imaginary line extended from the first display panel along a horizontal direction of the first display panel. The second display panel reflects the first image to display a first superposition image in which the second image is superimposed on the first image.

A color mirror substrate may include a transparent substrate, a plurality of wavelength conversion patterns arranged on the transparent substrate, and a plurality of mirror patterns, ones of the mirror patterns stacked on respective ones of the wavelength conversion patterns. Each wavelength conversion pattern may include a wavelength conversion particle with a quantum dot. In the color mirror display device, a mirror property having a desired color may be implemented. For example, a gold mirror or a black mirror may be implemented by using various types of quantum dots.

A liquid crystal display including: a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other; an alignment layer disposed on one of the first substrate and the second substrate and including a vertical photo-alignment material which includes a first vertical functional group and a photo-reactive group, and a major alignment material which does not include the photo-reactive group; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein a ratio of a molar concentration of the vertical photo-alignment material to the molar concentration of the major alignment material increases in a direction towards a surface of the alignment layer adjacent to the liquid crystal layer.

An inkjet method of printing an alignment layer is presented. The method entails depositing drops of an alignment liquid on a substrate while moving a plurality of inkjet heads and/or the substrate relative to each other to form a first dropping line on the substrate. The method also entails rotating a printing stage on which the substrate is mounted, and depositing drops of the alignment liquid on the substrate after forming the fist dropping line to form a second dropping line. Since the printing stage is elevated and rotated, the drops of the alignment liquid are easily deposited in a grid pattern to decrease the space between adjacent drops. If desired, drops may be skipped to avoid depositing the alignment liquid multiple times on the same location on the substrate. With this method, the planarization time of the alignment layers is shortened.

Inkjet method and apparatus for printing an alignment layer

A piezoelectric unit includes a first piezoelectric member having a tubular shape, a second piezoelectric member inserted into a first opening of the first piezoelectric member, and a voltage applying member applying a driving voltage to the first and second piezoelectric members. An orifice plate includes a body through which first nozzle openings corresponding to the first piezoelectric member and second nozzle openings corresponding to the second piezoelectric member are formed. An elastic member is disposed between the first and second nozzle openings and the piezoelectric unit. A shape of the elastic member is changed in accordance with a changed shape of the piezoelectric unit for jetting ink through the first and second nozzle openings. Thus, a nozzle pitch of a printer head may be reduced.

An apparatus for jetting an alignment agent includes a jetting head having a jetting hole, an alignment agent externally provided onto a substrate and a viscosity controlling part controlling a viscosity of the alignment agent stored in the jetting head to facilitate jetting of the alignment agent. The alignment agent is jetted to the substrate through the jetting hole. The apparatus improves the efficiency of jetting the alignment agent.
