The first rim portion is detachably attached to the first rimless lens through the installing portion provided at the edge portion of the first rimless lens.

Switching circuits are implemented in a manner that facilitates fast switching, which can be effected while also maintaining relatively low power dissipation. As may be implemented in connection with one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a transistor connected between an input port and an output port, and a gate that switches between on and off states. A charge storage circuit stores a charge, and a switching circuit operates by switching the transistor between the on and off states as follows. In a first charging mode, a voltage is coupled across the charge storage circuit and a charge is stored therein, while decoupling the transistor from the charge storage circuit. In a second discharge mode, the transistor is switched from the off state to the on state, while coupling the stored charge across the gate and one of the source and drain of the transistor.

High speed switching

Various example embodiments are directed to methods and apparatuses for implementing a circuit design within an integrated circuit (IC) package. A respective capacitance is determined for each die contact of a circuit design. A respective target inductance range is selected for each of the plurality of die contacts based on the determined capacitance. A segmentation of the circuit design is determined as a function of the target inductance ranges. The segmentation defines an implementation of the circuit design on a plurality of IC dies. The IC dies are placed at respective locations on the substrate, based on the resulting inductances of connections (e.g., conductive traces) between the die contacts and terminals of the IC package.

Integrated circuit package and method

Various example embodiments are directed to methods and circuits for mitigation of on-resistance variation and signal attenuation in transistors due to body effects. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a transistor configured to provide a data signal from a first one of the source or the drain to the other one of the source or the drain in response to a control signal provided to the gate. A body bias circuit is configured to bias the body of the transistor based on a voltage of the data signal to reduce variation in the on-resistance exhibited by the first transistor. As a result of the reduced variation in the on resistance, attenuation of the data signal is reduced.

Circuit and method for body biasing

Various example embodiments are directed to methods and circuits for mitigation of on-resistance variation and signal attenuation in transistors due to body effects. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a transistor configured to provide a data signal from a first one of the source or the drain to the other one of the source or the drain in response to a control signal provided to the gate. A body bias circuit is configured to bias the body of the transistor based on a voltage of the data signal to reduce variation in the on-resistance exhibited by the first transistor. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes body bias transistors and switches and the gates of the body bias transistors are connected to protect the body bias transistors from the effects of electrostatic discharge (ESD) events.

The disclosure provides a method of operating a duty-free retail operation at an airport. The airport includes a secure zone and a non-secure zone, which are separated for passengers by a security checkpoint. The duty-free store may be located in the non-secure zone of the airport. The airport may also include a product storage area and a product pickup area, which can be accessible from the duty-free store or remote from the duty-free store. The product storage area may store copies of the products displayed in the duty-free store. A passenger customer can purchase products displayed in the duty-free store, for example, by scanning QR codes associated with products and making a payment using a mobile computing device. Copies of purchased products may then be retrieved from the product storage area and delivered to a designated product pickup area before the customer boards the plane.

The disclosure provides a method of operating a retail store by displaying copies of some variations of a product in a customer shopping area within the retail store and storing other variations of the same product in a non-customer storage area of the retail store, while providing customers with a method to easily browse through all of the store's offerings by using mobile devices and QR codes located on or near displayed products. Upon scanning a QR code of a product displayed in the customer shopping area, the mobile device displays all variations and products related to the scanned product that are available for purchase at the retail store.

The invention provides a frame locking device for eyeglasses, comprising a locking groove and two locking bumps. The locking groove is provided on an outer edge of a lens, and extends perpendicularly to a surface of the lens. The two locking bumps are provided on a side portion of a frame, apart from each other so as to lock the lens by fixing the outer edge of the lens. A part of the side portion of the frame disposed between the two locking bumps is fitted into the locking groove. Less than half of the side portion of the frame disposed between the two locking bumps may be fitted into the locking groove of the lens. The side portion of the frame disposed between the two locking bumps may comprise elastic parts so as to be pressed to be inserted into and plucked out of the locking groove.

An eyeglass system comprises a base eyeglass set and a cover eyeglass set being carried on the base eyeglass set. The base set includes base lenses and a base bridge connecting the base lenses and hooks connected to outer sides of the base lenses. The cover set includes cover lenses, cover lenses and a cover bridge connecting the cover lenses. Inner portions of the cover lenses are recessed to form inner openings so that each corresponding end of the base bridge is inserted in the inner opening.
