A hydrochromic polydiacetylene polymer patch and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The hydrochromic polymer patch comprises a polymer matrix; and polydiacetylene present in the polymer matrix. The polydiacetylene has an ionic functional group in the repeating unit thereof. The ionic functional group is RMor RX. Ris a carboxylate anion, Mis an alkali metal cation, and Ris a quaternary ammonium group, and Xis F, Cl, Br, I, PF, BF, bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide (TfN), trifluoromethanesulfonate (TfO), SCN, or CHCOO.

Water-based diacetylene ink, hydrochromic polydiacetylene paper prepared using the ink, and use thereof

The present invention relates to a hydrochromic polydiacetylene composite composition, a hydrochromic thin film using same, and a use thereof, and more specifically, to a hydrochromic polydiacetylene composite composition reacting sensitively to moisture, providing the hydrochromic thin film using same, and to applying same to biorecognition or fingerprint recognition. According to the present invention, moisture secreted from a fingerprint or pores on the skin can be detected with high sensitivity. Thus, the position of pores unique to a fingerprint of an organism can be amplified and displayed through selective color change and fluorescent change patterns exhibited when moisture is absorbed.

Hydrochromic polydiacetylene composite composition, hydrochromic thin film using same, and use thereof

Disclosed is a method of preventing optical recording media from being fractured and apparatus thereof, which enable to prevent an optical disc of an optical disc drive from being fractured due to a crack. The method and apparatus comprise: detecting a first tracking error signal outputted from a data recording/reproducing apparatus when the optical recording media are rotated at a first speed; detecting a second tracking error signal outputted from the data recording/reproducing apparatus when the optical recording media are rotated at a second speed; determining whether or not the crack on the optical disc exists on the basis of the first tracking error signal and the second tracking error signal; and stopping an operation of the data recording/reproducing apparatus when the optical recording media have the crack.

Method of preventing optical recording media from being fractured and apparatus thereof

An optical disc drive include a turntable for mounting an optical disc, a driving unit rotating the turntable, and an optical disc heating member for heating a center portion of the optical disc. In the optical disc drive, an inner circumference temperature of the optical disc is maintained to be higher than a peripheral temperature of the optical disc by at least 50&#xb0; C. According to this, a growth of a crack generated at a periphery of a hole of the optical disc is restrained thereby to effectively prevent a damage of the optical disc.

The present invention discloses an optical disk formed according to double injection molding of forming an area of the optical disk on which a recording film is formed, namely, an outer circumferential area by using polycarbonate that is an amorphous polymer, and forming an area of the optical disk on which the recording film is not formed, namely, an inner circumferential area by using a semi-crystalline polymer having a similar elastic modulus to that of polycarbonate and having durability to a static fatigue, especially polyamide. Therefore, the optical disk is efficiently prevented from being damaged by restricting growth of cracks near its hole, obtaining excellent optical characteristics as an information recording medium.

The invention relates to a photopolymerizable composite resin composition for dental restoration i) based on the multifunctional prepolymer mixture of 2,2-bis-(4-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxypropoxy)phenyl)propane (&ldquo;Bis-GMA&rdquo;) and multifunctional prepolymer formed by substituting hydrogen atoms in hydroxyl group with methacrylate groups in this Bis-GMA molecules, and ii) comprising a diluent, an inorganic filler, a photoinitiation system, and other additives. The photopolymerizable composite resin composition for dental restoration based on multifunctional prepolymer mixture has better physical and mechanical properties and biocompatibility than the conventional composition based on only Bis-GMA itself.
