A fuel tank venting system for a hybrid vehicle includes a first flow path configured to deliver fuel vaporized from a fuel tank to a canister, a second flow path configured to deliver air used for cooling a high voltage battery to the canister, a first three-way valve disposed on the second flow path and configured to control opening and closing of a first discharge port for releasing pressure of the fuel tank, a second three-way valve disposed on the second flow path and configured to control opening and closing of a second discharge port for flowing the air used for cooling the high voltage battery into the canister or discharging the air used for cooling the high voltage battery outside the vehicle, and a controller configured to control the first three-way valve and the second three-way valve.

A controller of a fuel system for a vehicle is provided in which heat is dissipated outside from a printed circuit board to cool the controller. The dissipated heat is utilized to maximize the efficiency of the purge operation using a canister by waste heat. A returnless fuel supply system applicable to an LPG vehicle is provided. The system supplies LPG fuel from an LPG bombe to an engine at a predetermined pressure or greater and prevents the generation of vapor in the LPG fuel, thereby eliminating a need to return a portion of the LPG fuel supplied to the engine to the LPG bombe. Through the application of the returnless fuel supply system that does not return the high temperature fuel to the LPG bombe, the cause of the internal pressure increase in the LPG bombe is eliminated, and thus efficient refueling of LPG bombe with LPG fuel is achieved.

An apparatus for filling a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicle with LPG may include an auxiliary chamber disposed in an LPG bombe of the LPG vehicle, an auxiliary injection line branched from a fuelling line extending to the LPG bombe from a fuel inlet port for connection to the auxiliary chamber, a solenoid valve mounted in the auxiliary injection line to selectively allow or block a flow of LPG to the auxiliary chamber, a temperature sensor to detect a temperature in the bombe, and a controller to control the solenoid valve to be opened when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is equal to or higher than a critical temperature.

Apparatus and method for filling LPG vehicle with LPG

A fuel filling apparatus and method for a bi-fuel vehicle using both gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel are provided to an LPG fuel tank. The fuel filling apparatus and method are capable of temporarily burning a portion of LPG fuel after collecting a fuel portion, using a gasoline fuel tank and a canister, when the internal pressure of the LPG fuel tank in the bi-fuel vehicle is equal to or greater than an LPG filling pressure of a filling gun. Additionally, the internal pressure of the LPG fuel tank is decreased to a level below the LPG filling pressure of the filling gun, thereby achieving smoother LPG fuel filling of the LPG fuel tank by the filling gun.

Fuel filling apparatus and method for bi-fuel vehicle

A liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling system of a bi-fuel vehicle is provided. The LPG filling system may be configured for reducing the temperature and pressure in an LPG bombe for storing LPG in the case in which the external temperature is very high, e.g. in the hot season, whereby it is possible to easily refill the LPG bombe with LPG. The LPG filling system is configured to cool the inside of an LPG bombe and to reduce the vapor pressure of LPG by supplying some gasoline from a gasoline tank into the LPG bombe using the fact that the temperature of gasoline in the gasoline tank is lower than the temperature of LPG in the LPG bombe, whereby it is possible to easily refill the LPG bombe with LPG even in the case in which the external temperature is very high, e.g. in the hot season.

The filter case is integrally disposed on the mounting plate to enable heat exchange between the air passing therethrough and the motor driver.

An apparatus and a method for charging an LPG fuel vehicle are provided to charge a LPG tank with LPG fuel by decreasing part of pressure in the LPG tank when pressure in the LPG tank, which stores the LPG fuel, is greater than charging pressure. That is, pressure in the LPG tank is decreased to be equal to or lower than charging pressure of a charger and the LPG tank with LPG fuel is charged more smoothly from the charger, by capturing part of the LPG fuel in the LPG tank and allowing the LPG fuel to be combusted in the engine when pressure in the LPG tank of the vehicle is greater than LPG charging pressure of the charger.

Apparatus and method for charging LPG fuel vehicle

An auxiliary fuel tank for a flexible fuel vehicle is provided. The auxiliary fuel tank is mounted to an auxiliary tank body for storing gasoline fuel and is installed in an engine compartment of a flexible fuel vehicle. The auxiliary fuel tank includes a canister that is coupled to the auxiliary tank body and has activated carbon therein. The canister is configured to collect fuel evaporation gas generated in the auxiliary tank body to supply fuel components to an engine.
