A display device includes a thin-film transistor layer disposed on a substrate and including thin-film transistors; and an emission material layer disposed on the thin-film transistor layer. The emission material layer includes light-emitting elements each including a first light-emitting electrode, an emissive layer and a second light-emitting electrode, light-receiving elements each including a first light-receiving electrode, a light-receiving semiconductor layer and a second light-receiving electrode, and a first bank disposed on the first light-emitting electrode and defining an emission area of each of the light-emitting elements. The light-receiving elements are disposed on the first bank.

A display device includes a display panel, a metal plate disposed on a bottom surface of the display panel and configured to support the display panel, a filling member disposed on the bottom surface of the display panel, the filling member being disposed on the same level as the metal plate relative to the bottom surface of the display panel, and a material of the metal plate being different from a material of the filling member, a fingerprint sensor disposed on a bottom surface of the filling member, and a member-sensor bonding member disposed between the fingerprint sensor and the filling member to bond the fingerprint sensor to the filling member. A hardness of the filling member is greater than a hardness of the member-sensor bonding member.

A display device includes: a substrate including a display area having a plurality of pixel areas and a non-display area surrounding at least one side of the display area; a light-blocking layer disposed on a first surface of the substrate and including light transmissive areas to allow incident light to pass therethrough; a circuit-element layer disposed on the light-blocking layer and including a plurality of conductive layers; a light-emitting element layer disposed on the circuit-element layer and including light-emitting elements; and a sensor layer disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposing the first surface to sense the light passing through the light transmissive areas. The base substrate includes a first base, a second base on the first base, and a light blocking layer between the first base and the second base, and the light blocking layer includes holes through which light reflected by a finger touching the cover window passes.

The first light transmitting holes may include openings distributed in the at least one conductive layer.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A touch sensor includes sensor pixels which provide output currents which change in response to a touch made by a user, a sensor scan driver coupled to the sensor pixels through sensor scan lines and supplies sensor scan signals to the sensor pixels, and a read-out circuit coupled to the sensor pixels through output lines, and senses a touch using the output currents. The sensor scan driver changes a scheme for supplying the sensor scan signals depending on a fingerprint sensing mode and a touch sensing mode.

A security device includes a door handle unit disposed on a door body, a cover layer including a touch sensor and covering the door handle unit, a door locking unit which controls a locking of the door body. The touch sensor may include a plurality of sensor pixels, each including a sensor electrode which forms a second capacitor with a hand of a user when a touch occurs thereon by the user. The touch sensor may generate touch information based on a change in capacitance of the second capacitor corresponding to the touch.
