Disclosed are a method for obtaining a full reflectance spectrum of a surface and an apparatus therefor. The method for obtaining a full reflectance spectrum of a surface, comprises the steps of: (a) calculating a combination value of spectral characteristics of a light source and response characteristics of a camera for an image of a reference object, the full reflectance spectrum of a surface of which is known, by utilizing the known full reflectance spectrum of a surface; (b) obtaining an image by photographing an object irradiated with light according to a predetermined lighting environment; and (c) obtaining a full reflectance spectrum of a surface for the object by utilizing the combination value of the spectral characteristics of the light source and the response characteristics of the camera for the image.

Method for obtaining full reflectance spectrum of a surface and apparatus therefor

A wearable display device that employs a sliding structure is disclosed. The device includes: a frame; a main unit coupled to the frame; a non-bending part, which includes a camera configured to capture an image of a forward direction, and which is coupled to the main unit and is configured to slide to a first position; a hinge coupled with the non-bending part; and a bending part, which is configured to provide image information to a user, and which is coupled with the hinge to rotate within a predefined angle. When the bending part is rotated, the camera is exposed to the exterior and moves from the first position to a second position. The device prevents malfunctioning and damage even when the device is worn for extended periods, and it is possible to resolve the problem of the wearable display device obstructing the field of vision when not in use.

Wearable display device having a sliding structure

A wearable display device is disclosed, which includes: a frame; a display unit configured to show an image in at least a partial area thereof and positioned in front of a user's eye in a first mode; a main unit coupled to the frame; and a hinge disposed at a coupling point of the display unit and the main unit to enable a rotation of the display unit, where the display unit is rotatable about the hinge by at least 180 degrees. With the device disclosed herein, it possible to prevent malfunctioning and damage even when the device is worn for extended periods, and it is also possible to resolve the problem of the wearable display device obstructing the field of vision when not in use.

An apparatus and a method for providing a tactile sensation for a virtual image are disclosed. The disclosed apparatus includes: a display unit for displaying an image including a virtual image; an image acquisition unit for acquiring an image of a user body; a determiner unit for determining whether or not a user attempts an interaction with the virtual image by using an image acquired by the image acquisition unit; a content analyzer unit for acquiring a time at which a virtual image is shown and position information of the shown virtual image from a displayed content; a tactile-sensation provider unit for providing a tactile sensation to a preset body part of the user based on a determination result of the determiner unit; and a tactile-sensation provision controller for adjusting an ejector nozzle of the tactile-sensation provider unit based on a virtual image showing time and position acquired by the content analyzer unit. The disclosed apparatus can enable the user to interact with a virtual image with verisimilitude.

Apparatus and method for providing tactile sensation for virtual image

An apparatus and a method for providing a tactile sensation in cooperation with a display device are disclosed. The disclosed apparatus includes: a display-device communication unit configured to receive information on a virtual image from the display device; a determiner unit configured to determine whether or not a user attempts an interaction with the virtual image by using an image of a user body; and a tactile-sensation provider unit configured to provide a tactile sensation to a preset body part of the user based on a determination result of the determiner unit. Further, the present invention provides a method for restoring mobile service that releases and restores the mobile transfer state of the first mobile terminal when the first mobile terminal is located in a service possible area and the second mobile terminal is located in a shadow area. According to the present invention, a situation where mobile communication service subscribers do not receive important mobile communication service can be prevented from occurring, which is caused by not performing a procedure of restoring the transferred mobile terminal.

A method for controlling a robot cleaner includes: detecting a cleaning target space, setting a cleaning region within the detected cleaning space and cleaning the set cleaning region; if the set cleaning region is completely cleaned, moving to a not-yet-cleaned region adjacent to a cleaning completion spot of the cleaning region; and setting a new cleaning region in the not-yet-cleaned region and performing cleaning. Without repeating a cleaning region in the cleaning target space, the robot cleaner can extend its cleaning region, so the cleaning efficiency of the robot cleaner can be improved. Also, the robot cleaner can be smoothly enter a new cleaning target space or released therefrom. In particular, even when the entrance of the new cleaning target space is narrow, the robot cleaner can smoothly enter the new cleaning target space and gets out thereof.

Disclosed are a mobile robot and a controlling method thereof. The mobile robot comprises: a case; and a sensor unit having two or more sending portions and two or more receiving portions arranged on an outer surface of the case separately and alternately. The plurality of sending portions and receiving portions are arranged in an alternating manner, thereby having a directivity. Also, since signals received through the receiving portions are judged based on a reference value, an area unallowable to be detected for an obstacle sensing is minimized, which allows an obstacle to be detected more accurately. When the obstacle corresponds to a side wall on the basis of a moving path of the mobile robot, a distance between the side wall and the mobile robot is calculated based on signals received by the receiving portion closest to the side wall. Accordingly, the mobile robot can move with maintaining a constant distance from the side wall.

Mobile robot and controlling method thereof

A multispectral imaging method and system is provided. A multispectral imaging method of the present invention includes determining an on-off combination of a plurality of light sources illuminating a scene; illuminating the scene with the light sources according to the on-off combination selected on the basis of a first control signal generated by a microcontroller; capturing an image of the scene by operating a camera on the basis of a second control signal synchronized with the first control signal; determining a plurality of spectral basis functions and weights of the spectral basis functions; and acquiring a continuous spectral reflectance by summing values obtained by multiplying the spectral basis functions and respective weights. The multispectral imaging method of the present invention is practical and efficient in that a continuous spectral reflectance image can be acquired with a minimized number of measurements required for obtaining spectral reflectance. Accordingly, the multispectral imaging method of the present invention can be applied to various fields, such as image reproduction and medical imaging, while overcoming performance limits of the conventional RGB imaging techniques.
