A display device includes first group electrodes and the second group electrodes spaced apart from second group electrodes in a first direction, respectively, light emitting elements disposed on the first group electrodes and the second group electrodes, a first connection electrode and a second connection electrode disposed on the first group electrodes and extending in the first direction, a third connection electrode and a fourth connection electrode disposed on the first group electrodes and the second group electrodes and extending in the first direction, and a fifth connection electrode disposed on at least two electrodes of the second group electrodes and spaced apart from the first connection electrode and the second connection electrode in the first direction. Each of the first connection electrode, the second connection electrode, and the fifth connection electrode is disposed between the third connection electrode and the fourth connection electrode in a second direction.

Display device

A display device includes an emission area and a subarea located at a side of the emission area in a first direction, a first electrode extending in the first direction across the emission area and the subarea, a second electrode spaced from the first electrode in a second direction, the second electrode extending in the first direction, a first insulating layer on the first and second electrodes, the first insulating layer including an opening in the subarea, a plurality of light-emitting elements located on the first and second electrodes in the emission area, and a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer in the subarea, wherein the first electrode includes a first electrode extension located in the subarea at a first contact hole, the opening overlaps with the first contact hole and is located above the first electrode extension, and the second insulating layer overlaps the opening.

A first electrode upper layer of an electrode upper layer of a display device and a second electrode upper layer are disposed to partially expose a top surface of the first electrode base layer and a top surface of the second electrode base layer, respectively. A first insulating layer of the display device includes contact portions partially exposing a top surface of the first electrode base layer, a top surface of the second electrode base layer, and a top surface of the pad electrode upper layer.

A display device includes light-emitting elements disposed on first and second electrodes, and having first end portions disposed on the first electrode, and second end portions disposed on the second electrode, a first connecting electrode extending in a first direction and disposed on the first electrode, the first connecting electrode being in contact with the first end portions of the light-emitting elements, a second connecting electrode extending in the first direction and disposed on the second electrode, the second connecting electrode being in contact with the second end portions of the light-emitting elements, and a connecting electrode pattern disposed on the first electrode, the connecting electrode pattern overlapping the first connecting electrode. The second connecting electrode and the connecting electrode pattern include a same material, and a thickness of the first connecting electrode is less than a thickness of the second connecting electrode and the connecting electrode pattern.

A display device comprises a substrate including a display area and a pad area adjacent to the display area; at least one pad electrode disposed on the substrate in the pad area and connected to the display area; and at least one dummy electrode overlapping the at least one pad electrode and not connected to the display area.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes conductive layers on a substrate, a via layer on the conductive layers, a first electrode and a second electrode extending in one direction on the via layer and spaced from each other, a first insulating layer on the first electrode and the second electrode, a plurality of light emitting elements on the first insulating layer, each of the light emitting elements having one end on the first electrode and an other end on the second electrode, and a first connection electrode and a second connection electrode on the first insulating layer, the first connection electrode overlapping the first electrode, and the second connection electrode overlapping the second electrode, wherein the first connection electrode and the second connection electrode are in contact with the conductive layers through contact portions.

A display device may include a substrate including a display region and a non-display region, the non-display region including a fan-out region and a pad region, a plurality of pixels in the display region, a pad portion located in the pad region, a line portion located in the fan-out region, a power pad portion located in one region of the non-display region, a first power line located in the display region and connected to the plurality of pixels, a second power line located in the display region, spaced from the first power line, and connected to the plurality of pixels, a first bus line located in the non-display region and connected to the first power line, and a second bus line located in the non-display region and connected to the second power line.

A display device includes a first electrode group including a plurality of electrodes, a second electrode group spaced apart from the first electrode group in the first direction and including a plurality of electrodes, light-emitting elements disposed on the electrodes spaced apart from one another in the second direction and having a shape extended in the second direction, and connection electrodes. The connection electrodes includes a first connection electrode, a second connection electrode, a third connection electrode, a fourth connection electrode, and the fifth connection electrode, the first connection electrode is spaced apart from a part of the fourth connection electrode disposed on the second electrode group in the first direction, and the second connection electrode is spaced apart from another part of the fourth connection electrode disposed on the first electrode group in the first direction.

A display device having a pad area and a display area is provided. The display device includes: a substrate; a pad structure on the substrate in the pad area; and a display element part on the substrate in the display area. The pad structure includes a first pad pattern, a second pad pattern on the first pad pattern, and a third pad pattern on the second pad pattern, and the display element part includes a light emitting element configured to emit light in a display direction. The second pad pattern has a first area and a second area, the second pad pattern and the third pad pattern do not contact each other in the first area, and the second pad pattern and the third pad pattern contact each other in the second area.
