A display device comprises a first and a second electrode disposed on a base substrate and spaced apart from each other, the second electrode facing the first electrode, a light emitting elements disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a light structure disposed on the light emitting elements. The light structure includes a light transmitting portion disposed on the light emitting element, and a light shielding portion including at least one opening pattern. The light shielding portion is disposed on the light transmitting portion.

Display device

A low refractive layer and a display device are provided. The display device includes a plurality of light-emitting elements, a color conversion layer on the light-emitting elements, and a low refractive layer on the color conversion layer, wherein the low refractive layer includes a monomer represented by Formula 1. In Formula 1, Rand Rmay each independently be a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or hydrogen, Rmay be a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having two or more carbon atoms, X, X, and Xmay each independently be a curable functional group, and n and m may each independently be a natural number in a range of 1 to 5.

Low refractive layer and display device

A display device includes a substrate. The substrate includes a display area and a non-display area, and the display area includes an emission area and a non-emission area. A display element layer includes a light emitting element on the emission area of the substrate. A bank is on the display element layer and overlaps the non-display area and the non-emission area of the substrate in a plan view. A color conversion layer is on the display element layer, overlaps the emission area in the plan view, and is to convert a color of light emitted from the light emitting element. An organic insulating layer is on the color conversion layer and the bank. A maximum thickness of the bank is about 4 μm to about 20 μm. An average inclination angle of a first side surface of the bank adjacent to an edge of the substrate in the non-display area based on an upper surface of the substrate is less than or equal to about 45 degrees.

A display device includes a bank including an opening defining a plurality of pixels; a plurality of light emitting elements disposed in the plurality of pixels; a color conversion layer disposed on the plurality of light emitting elements in the opening; and a low refractive layer disposed on the color conversion layer in the opening.

Display device having low reflectivity layer and method for manufacturing the same

A display device includes a lower metal layer disposed on a surface of a substrate and including a first opening overlapping a rear emission pixel in a plan view; a first electrode and a second electrode disposed in each of the rear emission pixel and a front emission pixel, the first electrode and the second electrode being spaced apart from each other on the lower metal layer; first light emitting elements disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode disposed in the rear emission pixel; second light emitting elements disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode disposed in the front emission pixel; and a reflective layer disposed on the first light emitting elements and overlapping the rear emission pixel in a plan view, the reflective layer overlaps at least one of the first light emitting elements in a plan view.

A display device includes: a substrate; a first electrode on the substrate; a bank layer on the first electrode; an organic light-emitting layer on the first electrode; a second electrode on the organic light-emitting layer and the bank layer; a high-refractive lens on the second electrode and having a refractive index higher than a refractive index of a material that overlaps the first electrode and contacts a side surface of the high-refractive lens; a display panel including an encapsulation member that is on the high-refractive lens; and an optical path adjustment film on the display panel. The optical path adjustment film includes a plurality of protruding patterns on the encapsulation member and a cover layer in spaces between adjacent protruding patterns from among the plurality of protruding patterns. A refractive index of each of the protruding patterns is smaller than a refractive index of the cover layer.

A display device comprises pixels including a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, a third sub-pixel, a fourth sub-pixel, and a fifth sub-pixel, each sub-pixel including an emission area, wherein the first sub-pixel and the fourth sub-pixel emit light of a first color, the second sub-pixel and the fifth sub-pixel emit light of a second color, the third sub-pixel emits light of a third color, a first emission area of the first sub-pixel, a second emission area of the second sub-pixel, a fourth emission area of the fourth sub-pixel, and a fifth emission area of the fifth sub-pixel surround a third emission area of the third sub-pixel, and the third emission area of the third sub-pixel has four interior angles equal to or greater than about 180 degrees, and another four interior angles equal to or less than about 90 degrees.

An optical film for a display device, includes: a first refractive layer having an upper surface and a lower surface including first projections and second projections extending away from the lower surface in a first direction, the second projections having different heights than the first projections, the first projections having lateral sides with different angles of inclination that decrease in the first direction; and a second refractive layer disposed directly on the upper surface of the first refractive layer, the second refractive layer having a refractive index different from that of the first refractive layer.

A display device includes: a display layer having a display area including a plurality of pixel areas and a peripheral area at least partially surrounding the display area; and a cover layer disposed on the display layer to encapsulate the display area. The cover layer includes: a light blocking portion overlapping the display area and the peripheral area and including a plurality of openings to transmit light from the plurality of pixel areas and to block light in the peripheral area; a first protrusion disposed on the light blocking portion in the peripheral area and surrounding the display area; and an overcoating layer covering the display area and contacting a lateral surface of the first protrusion.
