A display apparatus includes, a first pattern included in a first layer, a second pattern included in a second layer, a first test pattern including a plurality of first lines extending in a first direction and having a first width, and being spaced apart from each other, a second test pattern included in the second layer, including a central line and a plurality of second lines connected to the central line, wherein the plurality of second lines extend in the first direction have a second width, and are spaced apart from each other, and wherein at least one of the second lines is electrically connected to the first lines, and a shift tester configured to apply a test voltage to the central line to determine a degree by which the second pattern is shifted with respect to the first pattern by measuring the voltages at the first lines.

A method of driving a display apparatus including generating first gamma correction data of input data using a first gamma look-up table ('LUT'), determining a Mura correction value of the first gamma correction data, adding the Mura correction value to the input data to generate added input data, generating second gamma correction data of the added input data using the first gamma LUT, and driving a pixel in the display panel using the second gamma correction data of the added input data. The Mura correction value is determined after the gamma correction data is generated, and the generating of the added input data is performed prior to any gamma correction being performed on the input data.

The serially reported out readings from the sensor array for the partial screen multi-pattern and for the full screen test images are obtained and used to generate virtual full screen sample images based on the obtained partial screen multi-pattern and for the full screen test images.

A method of displaying an image on a display panel which comprises a plurality of pixels arranged as a matrix type includes measuring a tristimulus value of X, Y and Z values of a displayed image to generate a target curve, generating a corrected grayscale data of a red pixel, a green pixel and a blue pixel using X, Y and Z values of the target curve and converting the corrected grayscale data to a data voltage to provide a data line of the display panel with the data voltage.

A display device includes pixels respectively arranged in areas defined by gate lines and data lines, a gate driver that drives the gate lines in response to a gate pulse signal, a data driver that drives the data lines in response to a clock signal and a data signal, and a timing controller that applies the clock signal and the data signal to the data driver and the gate pulse signal to the gate driver in response to an image signal and a control signal. The timing controller periodically changes a pulse width of each of the gate pulse signal and the clock signal.
